Wow! 31 games and 30 goals scored! Fans will really like him. (H)

Gotta take a bow for Djalo... (I know you can't se it, but I am actually bowing)

You have any special plans (uhhh) to prepare for next season? It's always tough to be a promoted team in Premier League.

But great job so far. Love it ;)

djalo is fantastic on fm10 , had him on Sporting and he was outstanding, you were extremely inspirated when you bought him

Thanks all of you for your support. I may not be able to update as I have coursework up to my eyeballs. :(

All the best in the game.. M also managing Newcastle and towards the end of the first season... Did not do any write up as i am up to it for now... Saw tht U managed to sell Jonas and Ryan Taylor, I could not sell them at ALL!! Pathetic... despite offering all sorts of terms... Trying to sell off Wayne Routledge as well... No offers too!! later...

Thanks. I managed to get decent money for them fortunately. Probably just got unlucky mate. :( Oh, and that coursework doesn't need to be in for a bit so another update tonight!

nice to see you doing a newcastle story with djalo :D

hopefully you will get a better owner than mine cos for some reason, the takeover only happened in the middle of the 2nd season (1st season in the epl) and the owners are the fans :'(

Thanks cmh. I always get the fans which means high expectations with no cash. :'(

The best few months for me ever on FM to come. Here's what happened! :D

Newcastle 6-0 Cardiff (Djalo x2, Taylor, Simpson, Maduro, OG)
Our biggest win of the season came against a Cardiff side who looked like they had been up all night. Djalo gave us 2 early goals, both placed of course, to make the scoreline 2-0 on 5 minutes. Taylor scored a good header and Simpson and Maduro made it 5-0 at half time. I laid off in the second half but Maduro's long shot was fumbled into the net by Marshall on 90 minutes. Easiest ever win!

Derby 0-2 Newcastle (Djalo, Maduro)
Another simple win against a team who seem to be at their best against Newcastle. Djalo scored a 25 yard screamer and Maduro scored a 30 yard stunner to seal the points today. We looked assured in defence and claimed our third win in a row.

Newcastle 1-1 Wigan (Tafer) FA Cup
We were the best team by far today but Wigan got lucky and forced at a Replay at St.James'. They scored through N'Zogbia later on but Tafer hit first for Newcastle in the 93rd minute to hand us a deserved replay.

Newcastle 4-0 Coventry (Djalo, Tafer, Lovenkrands, Coloccini)
Coloccini's first ever Newcastle goal gave us an easy win over a poor Coventry side. Djalo scored an early opener before Taylor scored with a good header. Lovenkrands ended his goal drought with a nice volley and Coloccini racked up the points with a fine header. Great win!

Newcastle 2-0 Preston (Taylor, Maduro)
Another simple win against a side pushing above their weight against the moment. Taylor scored again to give us the lead before Maduro rounded the win off with a trademark power driver. However, poor finishing let us down and we should have won by more.

Wigan 1-5 Newcastle (ae) (Ranger x2, Lovenkrands x2, Tafer) FA Cup
An amazing win against Wigan sent us through to the Sixth Round against Chelsea. Ranger gave us the lead with his first ever goal but Scotland scored a cracker to equalise. Lovenkrands put us ahead in Extra time. Wigan fell apart and Lovenkrands, Ranger and Tafer finished off to give us a tremendous win over bottom side Wigan.

Watford 1-4 Newcastle (Djalo, Carroll, Taylor x2)
An amazing brace from defender Taylor gave us the simplest of wins over Watford. Djalo gave us the lead as usual, with a placed shot, as usual. Carroll scored his first in a while and Taylor scored two headers in quick succession as we strolled to victory!

Player of the Month

The award goes to Steven Taylor for all the amazing goals he has scored. He has hit a superb 10 goals this season and shows no sign of stopping! He is a top notch defender who can play on the right when needed to. I hope he continues this rich vein of form!

Summary
The best ever month for Newcastle seeing us win almost every game in style. The Wigan match was the pinnacle of our season along with the Cardiff game. We are only 4 points ahead of Sheffield United but we do have a game in hand over them. We need to keep winning as they won't go away. Thanks for following!

Still doing well Chris :)

Keep it up.

Thanks Josh. Hope so. Oh and you too. ;)

Thanks for your support Nick. (K)

Doing well, some very good signings, all seem to fit in well. Wasn't to sure about the sale of Jonas, but it looks like it worked out well, so it looks like good business. Ryan Taylor just left me aswell, 3.4m to Valladolid. Milan Badelj is worth a look aswell, has been outstanding for me in Championship, scores his fair share of goals too. Plays anywhere across the midfield.:)

Thanks Stu. Jonas wouldn't fit in and I got the money to buy two players who have been sensational this season. :) I'll take a look at this Milan guy. :)

Badelj plays for NK Dinamo, and can be signed for 1.5m at the very most. Pushed Guthrie out of my first team. I also replaced my GK. I signed Jesper Christiansen from FC Copenhagen for 850k. Got a takeover, so I indulged with the wealth, and signed Fredy Montero, and Otamendi. :D

Lucky you. D Sound like great players. If I'm in the Premier League I'll take a look . :)

Definetly :) some excellent free transfers at the end of the season too;). Dida and Cannavaro are the main ones.

My big game against Chelsea will have a little update of it's own. Watch out for that. :D
