To: Monaco. I hated selling Anita who had been a constant starter and always delivered for us. However, with no budget, £15m was too good to turn down.



To: QPR. This was a no brainer. I sent him on loan for the whole of last season and he was never going to get a chance here.



To: Swansea. I only bought Gignac in January and he only played 4 games, scoring 1 goal. However, he was in decline, I was making a profit and Veton Berisha is now developed enough to be called upon when needed.

OUT ON FREES: Jordan Storey, Liam Smith, Greg Olley, Steven Taylor.



From: PSV. The deal made in January, I couldn't believe it when I beat the likes of Manchester City to land Bakkali. He's only 18 and hopefully he can develop into a world class talent for us.



From: Bayern. I wanted another central midfielder after the sale of Anita, and despite being young I believe Hojbjerg has the ability to play in the first team if needed.



From: Inter. I made signing a centre back a priority due to McAuley and Coloccini aging, and not knowing how Yang Mbiwa or Lascelles would do. I'm happy with Juan Jesus for £9m who is still relatively young and has made an outstanding start to his Newcastle career.



From: Man City. I was so happy with this signing. He's not a familiar big name but he's that player that I try to get hold of in every single save of Football Manager. He's always brilliant for me and I have no doubt he can do well here.



From: Red Bull Salzburg. Yordy is the same as Lopes. I couldn't complete a save on Football Manager without those two players in my team. £5m is a decent price and I look forward to seeing the extremely young but talented attack of Berahino in front of Bakkali, Lopes and Reyna.

Thanks. Yeah I was disappointed but my finances were that bad, I couldn't even sign someone on loan. Extremely happy how things are going. Hoping I can sign Can and Lopes permanently at some point.
 
Hey bro, the Benfica follow up is the same as Arsenal's! You need to change the Arsenal one. :)
 
Really enjoying the story so far ! if only newcastle could do something decent like this in real life.. keep up the good work :) one last thing. what skin are you using and where could i download it from? :)
 
Brilliant story mate.. i had a really popular NUFC story on FM 12 and layout is very important to me, and what youre doing with your presentation is world class! keep it up

Being a Newcastle fan myself I love the story, also I think this is the best presented story on here! Much better than mine lol! Good luck for the new season!
 
Thanks for the feedback, been extremely busy lately with college work, revising for exams and driving tests. However I do miss this save and if people are still interested I'll try to continue it. Thanks.
