Before
Palermo returned to Parma today, looking to continue their fine form and to avenge a 2-1 defeat here last season.

After
Llorente was the man today, scoring his first of three goals on 20 minutes.
But Parma hit back 7 minutes later, a lovely chipped effort from Mitroglou, 1-1 on the half hour.
Llorente put Palermo back in the drivers seat with a powerful header on 36 minutes. His power in the air was proving difficult to deal with for most Serie A sides.
Palermo went into the break 2-1 up, and in the second half, Lukaku put the game beyond Parma with a great individual effort, scoring from a tight angle. Labyad headed Parma back into contention on 74 minutes, but it was against the run of play and Palermo soon found them selves 4-2 up, with Llorente scoring with his left foot from just 3 yards out. Palermo looked impressive today, winning 4-2

Amazing progress mate, hope you continue your unbeaten run going. :)

Before
Palermo had already qualified from the group, but a win today would secure top place. AEK Athens needed a win to stand any chance of going through.

After
Lukaku and Piatti scored two early goals to put Palermo 2 goals ahead. AEK Athens tried their hardest but couldn't get into the game, and after this defeat, it saw them crash out of the Champions League

Serie A: Matchday 14

U.S Palermo 4 - 1 Genoa
From Renzo Barbera, La Favorita, Palermo, Att:- 33871
Lukaku (pen 7, 89), Llorente (28), Henrique (44)
Palacio (45+1)

Before
Unlike last season, Genoa were struggling this year. Their new signings hadn't gelled well with the team, Palermo looked to expose this.

After
Genoa looked terrible today, and after a stupid hand ball in the area, Lukaku sent the keeper the wrong way to give Palermo a 1-0 lead. Things got worse for Genoa as the brilliant Llorente headed home. He had settled in really well. And then Paulo Henrique smashed the ball into the top corner on 44 minutes.
But before the half was over, Palacio pulled one back for the visitors, with a flukey goal from 40 yards out, DeGea should've done better.
The second half was alot slower and a minute before time, Lukaku sunk the ball into the net from 23 yards out, giving Palermo a convincing 4-1 win

Drezzy you have so many quality attackers now, how do you find a place for all of them in your formation??? can't figure out what's your regular tactic tbh!

I have Eden Hazard and Piatti on the wings with Llorente and Lukaku starting as strikers.
If Llorente/Lukaku are getting marked and not playing well, then i use Kadlec and Hernandez for their speed.

Pastore sits in midfield with Henrique.

Before
Lazio were struggling this season, losing 8 out of 16 games. Palermo looked to pile on the misery.

After
Another Brilliant performance from the men in pink and black today. Galeano returned to the starting 11 after recovering from injury, and his header on 29 minutes put Palermo in the lead.
Lazio failed to offer anything meaningful to the game. At half time, a tired Galeano was hauled of and replaced by Bovo, who stunned the Rome crowd when he headed in a Pastore cross on 49 minutes. Palermo were picking on Lazio's main weakness, and that was in the air. Llorente completed the scoring with a header of his own on 77 minutes, Palermo were just too good for Lazio today

Mr Drezzy: My team needs a rest

Palermo manager Mr Drezzy has indicated that he will be changing his entire squad ahead of their Champions League Group C clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
He said that they'd already secured top position in the group, and there was nothing left for his team to do, so he would be fielding a totally different team

After
Chelsea were fantastic today, scoring 6 goals which paved their way into the next round. Palermo rarely attacked and looked happy to knock the ball between themselves when ever they had the ball

Guus Hiddink has said today that the winners of the upcoming Palermo - AC.Milan Game would probably end up as Serie A Champions, come the end of the season.
He said his A.C.Milan side were more then ready for the challenge, and looked to end Palermo's undefeated run

Before
If Palermo could win today, they would go 10 points clear with a game in hand, but A.C.Milan were pulling results together too, with some decent performances

After
The first half belonged to A.C.Milan. They controlled everything but Palermo managed to keep them at bay. On a rare break, Eden Hazard bundled the ball home after a mistake from Gattuso. Palermo go 1-0 up.
The second half was a different story, Palermo knocked the ball around with pride, shocking Milan. Henrique scored Palermo's second after Llorente paved the ball through the defence, Henrique just had to complete the tap in. 2-0.
It was Llorente who got the next goal, he was on the end of a brilliant Pastore cross, heading beyond the out stretching Abbiati. And finally, after an Eden Hazard Corner, Llorente hit the bar with a header and the ball fell to Sakho, who blasted it in from close range. Palermo dispose of A.C.Milan 4-0

This was Palermo's game in hand, but they were up against a Very Good Atalanta side who were shocking Serie A with their defensive displays

After
