Cheers, i needed money so tried getting as much as possible for them! Got Dodô and Bale at LB and Misun's just not fast enough to keep up so sold him. McCourt was simply not good enough, but not really got a decent replacement for him either.

Man City want £40M for Gallacher, which is a ridiculous amount of money. i've hardly got £4M, never mind £40M!

August Update

Squad analysis
GK - Got Boruc, Boucher and McDermott. Boruc'll play most games, Boucher cup games and McDermott'll f
ill in whenever he's needed.
WB - My r
ight back position's pretty weak, as Caddis wasn't performing well during the last half of the previous season. Kiko Femenia is coming along nicely though and is able to play there. Solid on the left, even though Dodô's out for a few months. Bale's doing an excellent wee job there
CB - Thoroughly covered by Kryvtsov, Caldwell, Otamend
i, O'Dea and my new youngster San José. May sell O'Dea or San José in January as there's too many players.
DM - August saw N'Guemo and Sung-Yong go, but 100% sure Crosas and Camacho will be more than good enough.
L/RM - No worries for the right wing as Brown, Maloney and Ljajic have that covered through and through, with Porteous doing well for the reserves. The left is worse; if Aquino gets injured or isn't up to scratch we're in trouble, as we've only got the new youngster Obi to cover for him after McCourt was sold. McGeady can always play there though, but trying to get Gallacher in.
AM - McGeady, Kakuta, Verratt
i. Don't need to say any more.
Targetman - The targetman of choice is Dell'Agnello (lots of thanks to Christophermcl for the heads up!), with Lukaku trying to get into the first team.
Poacher - F
irst choice is Kadlec, followed by Fortuné. GotIemmello on a free, so may sell Fortuné.

Squad's getting better, and should hopefully be able to do fairly well in Europe. Rangers have hardly bought anyone (only free transfers), and have more or less the same team as last year.

Season expectations
From the board's s
ide it's to win the league, win the Scottish Cup and qualify for the Champions League group stages, with the latter already done due to winning the league last year.

My personal hopes are to do the treble and get two the second knock-out stage
in the Champions League.

Aberdeen 3-3 Celtic (Fortuné, Dell'Agnello, Caldwell (pen)) (Otamendi sent off)
Celtic Reserves 0-2 Rangers Reserves (Kakuta, Dell'Agnello

Two goals from my w
ingbacks in a game where Celtic fielded a severely amputated team due to international call-ups. Gilmartin's lucky goal means he scored on his reserves debut, a good start! Dell'Agnello opened this year's goalscoring after 90 seconds played. We were solid, but Camacho got sent off rather ingloriously on his debut. Alright game against St. Johnstone; they never had a chance but we didn't really play that well.

D
id really well against Morton; we were solid at the back, but only moderately effective up front. What a thriller the Aberdeen game was though! Comacho picked up a yellow card within 30 seconds and Otamendi got a straight red after 11 minutes! With ten men Fortuné gave us the lead, and late on in the first half, which we completely dominated, Aberdeen draw equal. Dell'Agnello scores just a few minutes into the second half, but Aberdeen score again twice, the last one due to us only playing with one centre back! Dell'Agnello gets us a penalty and Caldwell steps up to make it 3-3!

Injuries
Dodô
is out with a torn hamstring between 3 and 7 weeks.

M
iscellaneous & News
There's a grow
ing colony of Italians, French and Spaniards atPark Head, with most of the coaching staff being Italian or Spanish, and now that Iemmello, Kakuta, Obi, Camacho and San José have joined up with Dell'Agnello, Crosas and Femenia and Boucher it's speculated whether the Glaswegian accent will become even more unintelligible.

There have been rumours that Mr. Webb appl
ied for both the vacant italian and Argentinian managerial post, but was turned down. Mr. Webb was unavailable for comment, having left this cryptic message on his answering machine; "Gone tae Italy, see yous next week!"

The newspapers have labelled the upcoming Celtic - Manchester United fixture as the Battle of Britain. When asked what he thought of this Mr. Webb replied "What? The Battle of Britain was the Brits versus Krauts."

Dell'Agnello scooped the Player of the Month, with Fortuné coming in third. Aquino was voted the third best young player.

September Update

Fixtures (Champions League in red, League Cup in green)
Celtic 3-0 Falkirk (Maloney, Dell'Agnello, Ljajic)
Celtic 2-1 Rapid Wien (Kadlec, Dell'Agnello) (Scott Brown sent off)
Kilmarnock 2-6 Celtic (Dell'Agnello, Dell'Agnello, Dell'Agnello, Fortuné, Dell'Agnello, Kakuta)
Falkirk Reserves 0-3 Celtic Reserves (Iemmello, Lukaku, Iemmello)
Livingstone 0-5 Celtic (Verratti (pen), Verrati (pen), Kryvtsov, O'Dea, Iemmello)
Celtic 4-1 Rangers (Dell'Agnello, Verratti, Verratti, Verratti) (Comacho sent off)
Celtic Reserves 3-2 St. Mirren Reserves (Harper, Harper, Crawford)
Manchester United 1-0 Celtic

Good solid performance against Falkirk. Conceded against Rapid almost immediately... And when I saw I'd placed Bale in goal I quickly realised why. Some quick rearrangements and we were back on track! Even with Scott Brown sent off after Dell'Agnello's goal we still held them.

Dell'Agnello ran the show against Killie, hammering in no less than four goals! Bit shaky at the back, but no matter! The reserves played well against the Bairns reserves, solid at the back and good in front of goal.

After a scrappy first half which only saw us in front due to two penalties which Verratti slotted home we came back geared up and ready for the second half, with Iemmello scoring his first goal for Celtic.

We did well against Rangers; Verratti scored a hat-trick and Dell'Agnello continues his sweet goal/game ratio! A bit unlucky to concede a goal, but meh, we scored 4! My last reserve game of the month went well all considered; quite a few players were contractless regens as most my lads were heading down south! Though, to no avail, Manure got a lucky goal through a lapse in concentration just after half time, but we were closer to 1-1 than they were to 2-0.

Miscellaneous & News
When registering his squad for the Champions League group stage Mr. Webb realised he didn't have enough players due to not knowing Gary Caldwell wasn't home grown. In a rage he left for Italy.

Celtic have been given 25-1 odds of winning the Champions League. It is rumoured the Italians have made deals with the Camorra.

U21 Internationals: Lukaku scored against Ljajic's Serbia, Caddis played well for Scotland, whilst Camacho and Femenia did well for Spain, but San José didn't; he got red carded. Ljajic also set up a goal against Albania. Kryvtsov and Kadlec were also in action for their respective countries.

U19 Internationals: Boucher came on as a sub, Hyslop and Porteous played for Scotland and Iemmello was subbed on for italy.

Internationals: Fortuné picked up a red, whilst Boruc, Bale, Caldwell, McGeady and Brown were in action was well, with Brown scoring no less than two goals against Romania.

Gaël Kakuta scored his first league goal for Celtic against Killie, and Iemmello scored his first senior goal against Livingstone.

The expansion of Park Head is complete; it can now hold 75000 people.

Good squad of players there. If you need a left mid there was a pretty good player for Partizan though I cant remember his name. He should be in the Serbia national side.

September Update

Fixtures (Champions League in red, League Cup in green)
Celtic 1-2 Dundee United (Dell'Agnello)
Hearts 0-3 Celtic (Kadlec, Maloney (pen), Kadlec) (McGeady sent off)
Porto 1-0 Celtic
Celtic - St. Johnstone (Caddis, Dell'Agnello, Otamendi
Rangers 5-2 Celtic (Dell'Agnello, Fortuné)
St. Mirren 1-2 Celtic (Gallacher O.G., Dell'Agnello)

Awful game against Dundee United, only consolation was that Dell'Agnello scored in the 89th minute. A sharp return to form against Hearts followed; margins were on our side with them missing a few headers that were sitters, hit the inside of the post and side netting, whilst Kadlec's first goal was "somewhat" offside.

We were unlucky to not get a point against Porto, as Boruc was good today and they never really had more than one good chance (which they scoffed), but Meireles had a belter of a shot from 30 yards that went in, though he got sent off 5 minutes later for a two-footed lunge on Verratti, though we failed to capitalise on it.

An expected demolition of St. Johnstone followed, yet it could, and should have been more. Much sympathy towards St. Johnstone's keeper for getting hit that much.

Rangers... What a ******* disgrace. Boruc saves every single one of the turncoat Miller's shots, then after 3 minutes added... Miller scores in the 95th minute. Then we collapse going into extra time. Absolutely disgraceful. We couldn't get out of our own half for the second half, such was the pressure, but Kenny "Drunk Pigeon" couldn't find the goal, though Otamendi and Caldwell tried their best to help him.

Did alright in a scrappy game against St. Mirren. We could've scored more, they could've equalised, so very happy with 3 points.

Reserve Fixtures
Dundee United 3-0 Celtic
Celtic 3-1 Hibernian (San José, Kakuta, Hyslop)

Holidayed the Dundee game, but came back from 0-1 down to hammer Hibs, Hyslop scored a beast of a goal from a free kick just outside the box.

Competitions

Having played our two hardest away matches in the Champions League and come back with nothing in the bag, not even a goal, makes our job getting through the group stages pretty **** hard.

Rangers, surprisingly, lost 4-2 to Falkirk, which makes the team's lapse of concentration against Dundee United bareable. Still top of the league, which is good!

Losing out on the League Cup to Rangers in extra time following some drunken refereeing was awful. Filthy, cheating....

Players
Aquino's not been performing well so far this season and Bale unhappy about not being allowed to speak to some other club. McGeady's not up to scratch either, which leaves my left wing very vulnerable; hopefully Gallacher will get signed in the January transfer window.

I've also been trying to give Boucher some more playing time, and he's done well so far. Kept our sheet clean against St. Johnstone though they didn't have a single shot on goal, so wasn't that much of a performance.

Player of the Month and Young Player of the Month goes to Dell'Agnello
For scoring, training well and assists!

Injuries
Been missing Kryvtsov and Fortuné for most of the month, only returning for the last two games.

Miscellaneous & News
Mr. Webb was clearly not pleased with the Dundee United score and gave the team the hairdryer treatment, quite literally. He took a hairdryer to Scott Brown's freshly shaven scalp, apparently causing the man some pain.

Off-camera reports detail Mr. Webb giving the referee a Glasgow kiss after the Rangers game.

During the post-Rangers interview, Mr. Webb said he was very annoyed they were knocked out, as he felt it was a winnable competetion. The Celtic squad apparently didn't agree and threw a hissy fit. Mr. Webb doubled their training in response, saying "they're lazy buggers tha cannae be airsed tae run fae 98 minutes."

Happy times!!!

If youre a few seasons in it might be worth while searching for Regens.

Got Simon Gallacher (see the top of my August update) for 20 million quid, it hurt. Alot.

your a funny dude chaz

Thanks!

New update is due tonight, but due to drunken shenanigans which involved me using Bale as a keeper, Boruc as a left back and general mayhem, in addition to a crash after my last game in October, which reverted me back to my second last game of the month, i've had to redo things.

---------- Post added at 12:05 AM ---------- Previous post was yesterday at 08:32 PM ----------

November update
Fixtures (Champions League in red)
Celtic 4-2 Porto (Dell'Agnello, Dell'Agnello, Kryvtsov, Kadlec)
Celtic 4-0 Hibernian (Kadlec, Dell'Agnello, Kryvtsov, Kryvtsov)
Morton 0-7 Celtic (Kryvtsov, Kadlec, Kadlec, Kadlec, Kadlec, Camacho, Aquino)
Celtic 8-1 Aberdeen (Camacho, Caddis, Kadlec, Kryvtsov, Kryvtsov, Dell'Agnello, Dell'Agnello, McGeady)
Falkirk 2-3 (Verratti, Verratti, Kryvtsov)
Rapid Wien 0-2 Celtic (Ljajic, Aquino)
Motherwell 1-2 Celtic (Aquino (pen), Kakuta)

The month started with a terrific win over Porto; score went 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 2-2... And then Kryvtsov headed us into the lead from a corner and Kadlec cemented it. Very please with the result.

Three high scoring games in a row see us score 19 goals in 3 games and only concede 1! Camacho scores his first goal for Celtic, and Kadlec, Kryvtsov and Dell'Agnello rout the opposition.

Sketchy game against Falkirk, partially down to a drunk manager. Managed to play Bale as the goalie until i realised Boruc was my left back. A completely dominant game against Rapid followed, but they weren't without chances and could've equalised when we were only 0-1 up.

Reserves Fixtures
Celtic 1-1 Hearts (Kakuta)
Dundee 1-2 Celtic (Obi, Gardner O.G.)
Celtic 3-0 Morton (Lukaku, Lukaku, Obi)
Celtic 5-0 Falkirk (O'Dea, Iemmello, Iemmello, Ljajic, Kakuta)

The reserves are doing well, Lukaku is still lacking the mental attributes to play for the first team though.

Competitions
Very happy to have qualified for the next round of the Champions League, hopefully able to win a game! League's going well, sitting on top with a very comfortable lead.

Injuries
Gareth Bale has been out for most of the month, but is now returning soonish.

Miscellaneous & News

The reason for Celtic's updates getting mixed are apparently due to drinking on the manager's part, who managed to forget what month it was.

Mr. Webb's liver medication is apparently what caused Gareth Bale to don the keeper jersey against Falkirk. Fans were incredulous when they saw a very unsure Bale don Boruc's jersey. Mr. Webb was spotted urinating on a goal post and has been fined by officials. Neither Celtic management nor mr. Webb have commented on the incident.

In an interview for Sky News Mr. Webb revealed who his favourite managers of all time were. Reclining in a couch at McChuill's on Glasgow's High Street, mr. Webb was sipping his pint and answering the journalist. "Well, obviously Jock Stein for his achievements at this club. Brian Clough's outspoken method is also something to be admired. Kjetil Rekdal, a Norwegian player-turned-coach, who you may know scored Norway's 2-1 winning goal over Brazil in World Championship group stages back in the 90's, is also one of my all-time favourites. But my personal favourite is Martin O'Neill, for reviving Celtic's fortunes in a period where Rangers dominated."

Mr. Webb announced the transfer of Simon Gallacher, formerly of Falkirk, from Manchester City to Celtic. Mr. Webb's voice was a pained whisper during the press conference, probably due to paying £20,000,000 pounds for an 18 year old, the largest transfer fee Celtic have ever been involved in. Mr. Webb was also wearing dark aviators inside, and apparently reeked of whisky. It is now being touted as "the most expensive drinking spree in history." Mr. Webb also denied he wanted to bring Hearts' David Templeton to Celtic. "We have three right wingers," was the curt reply to Templeton's plea. Mr. Webb's voice picked up for the last part of the press conference, where he said he'd been approached by Villareal, but he had "no plans of heading to Spain. I have not asked to speak with them, yet they approached me with an offer, which I refused."

League Table and Champions League Group Table

December Update

Fixtures (Champions League in red)
Celtic 3-0 Falkirk (Kryvtsov, Combe O.G., Wright O.G.)
Celtic 2-2 Manchester United (Kadlec, McGeady)
Celtic 2- 0 Hearts (Camacho, Ljajic)
Dundee United 2-3 Celtic (Kryvtsov, Verratti (pen), Dell'Agnello)
Celtic 2-1 Motherwell (Maloney, Kadlec)
Rangers 2-1 Celtic (Kadlec)

A pretty remarkable game against Falkirk kicked off the month; their players scored more than us, yet we won 3-0! They defended well, but couldn't stop their own players' goals. Kadlec opened the scoring against Manchester United within 27 seconds of kick-off, with Manchester United going 1-2 up after Otamendi conceded a penalty and got red carded, yet 10 Bhoys fought back and with seconds to go salvaged a point! The Hearts game was pretty solid; used a lot of players that hadn't played in a while, which the score showed. The highlight of the game was Ljajic volleying in the 2-0 goal!

The game against Dundee United was exciting to say the least, 0-1, 1-1, 1-2, and in the 88th minute Goodwillie scores his second goal of the game to make it 2-2; we continue attacking and Dell'Agnello nets the winner and ends his 474 goal drought in overtime! Not a minute too soon! Maloney returned to the starting line-up against Motherwell and immediately scored a goal. We played well in the first half, and came out after the break 2-0 up, but the fire was just gone, but a win's a win.

Rangers; we played ball, but **** all penetration until we were 2-0 down. Naismith should've been sent off for a two-footed challenge on Verratti, scored the 2-0 goal with Rangers second decent shot on goal and after that we were struggling. Only consolation was Kadlec late goal.

Reserves Fixtures
St. Johnstone - Celtic (Obi, Kakuta, Kakuta (pen), Iemmello, Iemmello)
Celtic 3-0 (Iemmello, Porteous, Kakuta)

Kakuta has begun feeling the waters , but is still mostly playing for the reserves. I still have reservations about playing Iemmello, as he's not been that good when playing for the first team. Boucher's been doing well, saved a penalty against Rangers' reserves.

Competitions
Comfortably "tap ae the league," though didn't want to lose to Rangers, obviously.

Injuries
Andy Hyslop has been sent home after contracting a virus. Mr. Webb apparently prescribed "the Mad Max trilogy, first two Terminator films, The Road, Escape from New York and lots of rest."

Transfers
Celtic's Allan McDermott has gone on a season long loan to their feeder club Stirling.

Miscellaneous & News

O2 could report that Mr. Webb's phone bill involved a lot of phone calls to the Ukraine. With so little money left to spend, what is Mr. Webb up to?

it is rumoured that Wenger wants to bring Dodô to Arsenal after watching him play against Rangers.

Mr. Webb claimed the Manager of the Month award, even though his 12 win streak was ended by Rangers. Kryvtsov won the Young Player of the Month.

Gaël Kakuta £160K Loan (Schalke)

I'm very pleased with my transfers, though there was one more player I would've liked to have signed, but he's not interested in a move to Celtic Park. Git.

Squad Analysis & Expectations
My team is lacking experience, which mainly shows against Rangers and European teams. Against Rangers I'm wondering if having too few local bhoys is damaging my chances. They're coming along nicely, and winning the Champions League within the next four years sounds tough, but doable!

Current Best 11

Rangers

GK - Boucher and Boruc are still sound! McDermott's been sent out on a loan to Stirling to gain some experience as he's only playing for my reserves.
WB - Caddis and Femenia are stemming the tide on my right flank, but they're not quite as good as Dodô and Bale on my left.
CB - Kryvtsov and Otamendi are my key centrebacks, with ample cover provided by Caldwell, O'Dea and San José.
DM - My two Spanish bulls are doing the business; Camacho's doing well and Crosas' attributes are increasing a lot! Makélélé's been signed to ensure that if one of them gets suspended or injured i won't have to use Caldwell or Kryvtsov. Naturally, De La Red was found with 6 months left on his contract too, so signed him as well.
W - Brown, Ljajic and Maloney have the right covered, and the arrival of Gallacher has allowed me to use McGeady in a more AM role. Aquino's doing better than last season.
AM - Kakuta, McGeady and Verratti are doing really well.
Targetman - Dell'Agnello is the weapon of choice, as Lukaku isn't cutting it so far. Milevskyi, when he arrives, will have to fight for a first team spot!
Poacher - Kadlec is the starting line-up choice, but Iemmello and Silva may push him for that soon. Fortuné's getting sold during summer as I've got Milevskyi coming in.

All in all I feel my squad is the strongest in Scotland, but Rangers aren't far behind. We are a force in Europe, if a somewhat inconsistent one.

Fixtures (Scottish Cup in red)
Celtic 0-0 St. Johnstone
Celtic 6-0 Forfar (Verratti, Lukaku, Silva, Silva, Brown, Gallacher)
Hibernian 0-3 Celtic (Dell'Agnello, Dell'Agnello, McGeady)
Celtic 4-0 St. Mirren (Dell'Agnello, Dell'Agnello, Gallacher, McGeady)
Celtic 5-0 Morton (Fortuné, Fortuné, Fortuné, Lukaku, Kakuta) (Kakuta sent off)
Aberdeen 1-2 Celtic (Crosas, Fortuné)

January started with a draw at home to St. Johnstone; not the best start we could've wished for. But things picked up against Forfar, with Silva scoring a brace on his debut! Three games followed where Dell'Agnello and Fortuné ran the show, and Kakuta got sent off for holding. Against Aberdeen we could've won 0-3, but they caught us on the break after a corner and made it 1-2.

Reserves Fixtures
Celtic 6-0 Falkirk (Iemmello, Iemmello, Iemmello, Camacho, Kakuta, Fortuné)
Celtic 2-1 Dundee United (Obi, Porteous)

Competitions
We're still in the Champions League, the Scottish Cup and firmly top of the league. Happy times!

Players
Dell'Agnello wins Player of the Month, but Fortuné was close!

Miscellaneous & News
Mr. Webb has poached scouts Stewart Houston from Arsenal, Nkomo from Portsmouth and Daniel Rolland from AJ Auxerre.

Gareth Bale has apparently stopped whining about Glasgow and come to terms with life there. There's rumoured that a slight contract change that allows him up to three sheep a day has been arranged.

Mr. Webb announced that he, on a free, has signed Artem Milevskyi, Rubén De La Red, Ricardo Chará, Victor Palsson and Claude Makélélé. They will be joining Celtic in June.

Mr. Webb has during the transfer window been physically attacking representatives of clubs that have come with offers for Boucher, Bale and Caddis, stating "they're not for ****** sale!"

Kilmarnock got £2.9M for Gallacher's move to Celtic. Strangely, Killie haven't signed anyone. Celtic got £70,000 for Santonocito's move from Torino to Cagliari.

Solid game against Killie followed by another solid game against Gers. Not so solid against Arsenal; we were in the lead twice, but Caddis fumbled the ball when he was alone with Walcott... And yeah... The game was also 3 days after the Old Firm, so fielded a slightly tired team. We were somewhat fortuitous against Hearts; only a 91 minute shot courtesy of Crosas from 35 yards salvaged a point. We weren't good enough.

Motherwell 1-4 Celtic (Kadlec, Kadlec, Kadlec, Dell'Agnello)
Celtic 2-0 Dundee United (Kadlec, Brown)
Arsenal 3-2 Celtic (Kadlec, Dell'Agnello)

Hibernian 1-2 Celtic (Maloney, Aquino)
Celtic 9-2 Ipswich (Fortuné, Fortuné, Femenia, Gallacher, Hunt O. G., Femenia, Fortuné, Lukaku, Dodô)

We had a good run of games at the end, pleased with the Arsenal result really. We did well at the Emirates, and if it hadn't been for a few silly mistakes, we could've pulled off a win. Rangers score was terrific! We were 2-0 up and Brown got sent off... And we score another 4 goals!

Against Hibs in the final they took the lead with their first foray into our side of the pitch due to some bad marking. Maloney quickly equalised, and in the dying minutes of the second half Aquino scored a beast of a goal with a 35 yard free kick.

Competitions
We did well to win the Scottish Cup, we won the SPL comfortably, yet we didn't go as far in the Champions League as I'd wanted us too, and we didn't win the League Cup.

Players

Player of the Year

My personal player of the year goes to Dell'Agnello due to his absolutely outstanding performances. Pity he got injured with a few games to go, otherwise i'm sure he'd have got goalscorer of the year as well, as Goodwillie only beat him by one goal.

Injuries
Kadlec was out for the last games with a slipped disc and won't be back until August, Dell'Agnello also missed the last few games, and thus also the goalscorer of the year. I was struggling in a few games as both my Spanish bulls were out injured or suspended.

Miscellaneous & News
Mr. Webb informed the press that he was very happy with how his team managed to set a record for the most bookings in one season. He was clearly impressed with Camacho's record breaking tally of bookings!

Mr. Webb won the Manager of the Year award, Bale the Young Player of the Year, Kadlec the Football Writers' Player of the Year and Dell'Agnello won the Player of the Year award, even if Goodwillie scored more goals. Dell'Agnello was also voted Player of the Year by Celtic's fans.

Italo Galbiati decided to retire the 13th of July, leaving the Celts without an assistant manager. Mr. Webb is thought to currently be looking at possible successors, with Marco Materazzi being touted as a probable candidate.
