No Silver & Gold were The original pokemon plus the second generation pokemon, mostly the first lot though :)

They were great games, I'd recommend them

Yeah the game is bugged are very simple but it's free and has developed a lot over the past few years. I remember 3 years or so back the game was terrible compared to now. :)
 
Which was yalls first pokemon game? Mine was Red, but it seemed like all my friends had Blue. What was the difference between them, I can't remember.

They had a slightly different selection of Pokemon, some Pokemon you could catch on Red, you couldn't on Blue and vice versa.
 
ingenious marketing technique. You could nearly double your sales by splitting the game into two. That is unless you hooked your gameboys together and traded pokemon.

Btw, I think Yellow had the casino, but did anyone spend most of their game time there? Man, I played those slots more than I fought pokemon.

I just re-downloaded VBP after laptop was wiped, Red, Blue and Yellow have been completed before as too Silver
But Silver is the best, time to download it :D
 
I don't like the new engine, 3d is poor, graphics are **** ... I think the old engine so much better

*cracks out sisters gameboy and the yellow* wish i still had my gameboy and fire red :(
 
So, who's getting HeartGold/SoulSilver on Friday? it coincides with a long journey for me, from Glasgow to the Norwegian mountaints of Valdres, so i'll probably pick it up.
