To be honest, regardless of whether he was offside or not, I don't think Nani should've gone for it, simply because it was going in and it seems like Nani stealing Ronaldo's goal. It's not good for morale, especially if you nick a good goal off Ronaldo, who's well known to be quite the arrogant ***** who also happens to be your captain.
