Thanks for the reply. I guessed from the fact that your tactic has a lot of team and player instructions that you had probably taken a lot of time and experimentation getting to the final result!
It certainly works- I'm second at the moment behind Man Utd (but only on goal difference) with 8 games to go. Have scored 70 in 28 games, and conceded 32.
Its an entertaining tactic to watch too. Up until now the most success I'd had was with a possession based 4-1-4-1, but your tactic is far more free-scoring than that was.
My next test will be to try it out with "my" team- AFC Bournemouth. They'll need a couple of signings in key areas (The AM(C) in particular) but there are some free agents that I think will do the trick. They already have two wide men that will slot nicely into the inside forward roles, and two pacey wing backs so I think it could work, and I've been really keen to find a 4-2-3-1 that will work with them.
