Noooo! Don't go!

Wait, who are you? Teams play well against you because you allow them to. I make **** teams look ****. Why can't you?

Well explain to me how i can win 8 games in a row with some really tough opposition and then lose away to chelsea 7-0. then win one or two. draw one. then immediately just lose everything without trace and forget how to pass a football properly. The goalkeeper kicks the ball to the attacker or fumbles an easy strike into the back of the net. It is abysmal.

The game is also scripted because i have reloaded one match over and over and a very similar thing happens in each one. I play well for first 5/10 minutes and score. then the other team comes back dominates and i lose 2-1 whilst having a goal disallowed in the last minute. It has happened 4 out of 6 times.

Oh bullshit. The game isn't scripted. I've proven that on here with someone who said it was. If it's so scripted, upload your save from right before that game. I'll bet that the first person to try will win the game.

As for your previous question, I can't explain it, because I don't know anything about what you did in any of those games. If you want advice, open a thread and I and many others will be glad to help.

Look, the way I see it, if you didn't want to play this game anymore, you wouldn't. You'd just stop. Making a big song and dance about it on a forum, is a cry for help in my eyes. There are plenty of people who'd be willing to give advice. Take the opportunity to do so.

I would understand if this was a one team one set of players problem. But it is happening with Liverpool and has happened with Aston Villa with two different squads. The teams are incapable of carrying out my simple instructions.

"hold position" - positioning is 16+. so they roam forward, give the ball away. GKs kicking the ball out their hands to the opposition. I just don't understand the game is so frustrating and the worst part is you can see it coming.

That's exactly why you should open a thread. If you're looking for answers, you can get them. It would depend on his role, his teamwork attribute, your philosophy and any possible TIs, PIs or PPMs that could affect it.

Hold position is an instruction that takes effect when your team has possession, but not the player himself. What he does on the ball has nothing to do with "Hold Position". Was he given a playmaker role? Positioning is a defensive attribute. Off the ball is the attribute you're looking for when your team has possession.

Happened to me in championship playoff final with cambridge... i think it might have something to do with workrate/team work so now i altered my set pieces and have my players with the highest attribtue for these 2 stay back from all corners and free kicks etc.. hasnt happened since so i would try that.

Just saw my midfielder run across half the pitch to chase down a clearance after a corner. Right before he reached the ball, he completely stopped, letting the opposition striker gather it and run towards my keeper in a one on one and score. I obviously have a saboteur in my squad, he might as well have scored an own goal on purpose.

The game used to have an arcade-type of feel to it. You would put in the work to make good transfers, set up sensible training, manage your squad's morale, select a sensible tactic, and the positive results would generally follow. Now there is much more uncertainty to the game. You can do everything right and still get knocked down, which ventures closer to realism, but can be terribly demotivating.

I just played a game where I lost 3-0. I was frustrated, so I did the old reload and replay trick to see if my tactical choices produced repeatable bad results. On my very next attempt, I held a 5-1 lead at half time, using the same tactics and team talk. I understand why that can happen, and how it mirrors real life, but it's frustrating as a game player to see the same inputs lead to drastically different outcomes.

Does anybody else's game suddenly switch from British pounds to US Dollars for no apparent reason? Switching it back in the preferences doesn't work; you have to reload or just accept it until you're ready to end your session.

Is defending every going to be non retarded? No matter what instruction I use or how good the CB is, when the opposition are countering, even sometimes when they have the ball and are looking for an opening, the CB does the most retarded thing in the world and pushes up 15-20 yards to press the player on the ball opening up a HUGE gap in the backline others easily and quite often exploit. Always happens to my team no matter what team I play with, never with the opposition. I thought 14.3.1 would fix this but wow SI are full of coders who have no idea what they're doing. Name one team who defend in this retarded fashion? Players can come up to press, but not when the opp are countering with numbers all around the guy with the ball. Dumb glitch has been around since the stock settings. Why is this so hard to fix, or do SI not care?

It's not hard to fix yourself. The DC has to push up to engage the ball-carrier if no-one is properly screening the defence. Either narrow the distance between Midfield and Defence or play with a DM.

one situation really annoyed me; on my southampton save (never being them again as the southampton save has been done to death) 3rd season in ive won the league twice champions league once fa cup twice 1 league cup 1 dinner plate (community shield) & in january luke shaw starts moaning cause i rejected bids from man city which were lower than his value (he is 33 mil city offered 25) city have lower rep than me & i was leading the prem yet he moans? then he made me promise i win the league then he does the same thing next season! I let him go as I had a complete wingback regen coming through

This is shaping up to be the worst transfer window ever for me, £84m with nothing to spend it on, only 18 first team players (as opposed to 29 fighting for a place last season) and only 2 centre backs, neither of them anything special. Just 12 days till the season kicks off!

Had to let my star striker Mauro Icardi go for next to nothing (well, £19.5m) because he wouldn't stop moaning. Then I kind of accidentally sold my captain Steven Caulker to Arsenal after he'd captained England to winning the World Cup (slip of the finger mistake, no second chance). As well as that I allowed the hottest prospect in the country, young Jordan Disney to leave on a season long loan to Everton, not realising that I'm left with only one dedicated central midfielder. I also allowed several of the older players to leave as I'm paranoid that they'll pass their sell by date and become worthless.

All of my transfer targets have ended up signing new 5 year contracts with their clubs and basically I'm left with the skeleton of a Champions League side. The only permanent signings have made have both been free agents and even they were signed in February last year, other than that the only other lad I've brought in is an inexperienced young striker on loan till January who's probably going to be thrust straight into the action, due to me currently having only 2 fit strikers, and one of them is really an attacking midfielder!

Currently in talks with Adnan Januzaj and Phil Jones, at the moment its looking like my entire transfer and wage budgets are going just on these two players alone! That's how desperate I am!

If it only happens to you, and not to your opposition, it's obviously your tactics.

One on ones are just pointless. Doesn't matter if have the best player on the game still misses one on ones like nothing yet headers from anywhere in the box just go in. Game engine needs a complete revamp. Only teams with a huge striker can score consistently. Absolute bullshit. Tear up a defence for them to just deny you when you go thru one on one everytime is so ******* irritating. I mean come on. I had the same amount of CCCs as they had shots and still lose. Also one of their shots was a pen that wasn't even a pen. ******* useless **** game. I much preferred seeing players that were actually great players winning the golden boot instead of lambert banging in 20+ goals a season because no one can score one on ones yet the heading mechanic means players like lambert score ridic amount of goals because the defences are ****. wank game needs a total engine overhaul as there are so many factors that are wrong with it.

I watch plenty of footie mate and when the opposition are countring, CB's are not to push up and engage them even if no one else is, as it would open up a huge gap in the backline. This is because when someone is running with the ball, and doesn't have anyone closing them down, it's pretty bad they have a lot to time to get their head up. But to push up and leave a gaping hole in the backline is suicidal and will get exploited every time. You could have two DM's but once in a while they will get passed and a CAM will get a run on ur def, at which point all reasoning abandons them and they push up to engage the man on the ball.

Mate, you can watch footie all day, it doesn't change the facts. Instead of a rant on here, create a thread and ask? It's a lot more productive and you'll be able to sort out your problems in no time. They are stepping up because of a lack of defensive cover in midfield and they're adhering to your instructions probably as well. There are plenty of ways to reduce this, but you'd need to post your setup.

I agree with you man. CBs are always taught to jockey and not dive in when the opposition is attacking. To make the attacker decide how he is going to beat you. By stepping up this simply allows him to pick his pass and you're done. CBs should always divert back to goal and delay the attacker for as long as possible. A good example is David Luiz. Always charging up the pitch diving into tackles and gets caught out of position. Look how he's criticized for it.
