I just want to chime in, complaining - YES, COMPLAINING - about the most frustrating game, not of the series, but actually a video game in general, I've ever played. There's something horribly wrong about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming to be an expert at FM, I used to be quite decent at the previous ones, but as the game progressed I started getting lost how to actually set a proper tactic. And that one comes straight back at me this year, and on top of that - there's the awful ME. As the complaint has been set already in the thread, I won't be saying anything different. The amount of comebacks, regardless of them being late or whenever, is unbearable. Incompetent strikers, incompetent defenders, it seems they can't actually adapt to the opposition's changes that they make while the match is in progress. Playing Juventus against Genoa, dominating first half - no goal, second half goes underway, Genoa decides to go attacking - voila, they score, and even when I change to the most defensive strategy and shout-outs possible, I can't seem to stop them.
However, it seems the usual response is "don't play", or "don't buy the game/sell the game". How does that do anything? SI are responsible for what they are selling, and other games being broken at launch doesn't actually make SI's guilt disappear. It would be like, if I sold you a broken product, and then went and say "well, there are other people doing so(selling broken products), besides nobody made you buy it". Now, that's some messed up response. Especially given that it's a common occurance, not just some minor issues with a few people playing the game. SI are responsible for what they are selling, nowhere did they mentioned in the game description, before people buy it, that the game engine is broken, and that your strikers will just refuse to score and your defenders will refuse to defend. See, if people were warned about it, then SI can't take any blame - they warned us, but, as far as I recall, they did advertise the game as a good product, which it clearly isn't, at least not in its current state.
So, please, stop defending SI as if they have no fault in this. They made the game, they advertised it as a good, finished product and it's nobody's fault, but theirs. It's not my fault that I want to play a game they advertised as playable, which turned out to be otherwise.
