Yup, close offsides are alright. This is offside by miles. I myself have gotten offside goals sometimes, but it wasn't like this much offside and I've also had onside goals ruled out but this is absurd.

You can tell, because there will be commentary about it being dubious and it will say in the post match bit about the ref allowing goal to stand etc. if not then it might be a bug.
That said, ive seen some shocking offside calls in real life, so I wouldnt immediately call it an issue, unless you cant find evidence of the above.

Yup no mention of it. For eg a player appeals to ref or the commentary or they ask in press conference, nothing at all. Maybe Match Engine?

check the general match report, that detailed minute by minute commentary, if there is no mention there or in the post match analysis screen its a bug
 
i've already said my frustration with the ME and posted them on this forum and the Sigames forum, its a well documented frustration, but my main frustration is now is how long its taking for them to fix it, and to be honest they should have found these bugs in quality assurance before releasing the game

I was thinking about this the other day not your case in particular but in general. Would we all prefer a game where it has dubious calls and is more realistic or should the match engine be more robotic and if you're offside your offside end of. Tbh I am not sure what I prefer at first I wanted a more robotic black and white system but then the more I thought about I actually prefer it the way it is. What do others think about this?

As ive said before finding them is not the same as fixing them. testers dont fix bugs.
 
Dodgy offside decisions you do get in real life, but am i the only person to at times get 4-5 players injured in a game? (not checked if anyone else has complained about it)

2-3 games in a row, i changed my tactics to get back in the game/rty to get a goal, and ended up with 2 players carried off, 1 carrying a knock (who was out for a few weeks afterwards) and the 2 substitutes i brought on as replacements getting treatment off the pitch moments after coming on and having their condition reduced by 20% or so.

This isnt the 1st time ive had this happen either, i'm pretty sure i can count 3-4 occasions where ive had half my team chopped to bits and the referee has done nothing. No warnings, no cards. Not a thing. Now im pretty certain, that ive never seen more than 1-2 players get injured in a match. Not as often as ive had anyway.

Its very frustrating to lose a game, you were winning 2-0 with 15 mins left, because 2 players get injured and you've used all your substitutes already because the team you're playing are all carrying AK-47's!

7 mins of injury time also sux!
 
It's kinda ****** that we actually have to wait for the game to become good. Same thing happened last year, when i eagerly anticipated the next patch to come out, just so that I could play the game and actually enjoy it.

Right now, it's barely fun playing this game. The same things happen over and over again. Players taking retarded long shots when neither their PPM nor the tactic tells them to. Defendng is just horrific, and the strikers of your own team can't score goals.

Got to sympathise with that!

I had a goal disallowed for offside when my opponents had their keeper on the goal-line and a defender on the post! Perhaps the defender was particularly skinny and was masked from the linesman's view by the goalpost!

But, as Mike says, the officials make poor decisions in this as in the real life thing!

I have tried EVERY striking approach with them. I play 4-2-3-1 with inside forwards, I get a lot of service into my strikers and they miss far too many chances. Finishing on this game is appauling. These 2 strikers are 'clinical strikers' apparently too..

It's not my tactics and intructions before anyone says too, I've been in the Europa League the past 2 seasons and I'm fighting for a top 4 space this year after 4 seasons in the Premier League.

So who is getting my goals?

Here's a question, what if the patch doesn't suddenly make your strikers start scoring? Is it the game or your approach? We know corners need to be sorted out, so when that happens and your centreback scoring plummets, what happens then?

I'm not ruling out a bug as it doesnt appear in the commentary though, but on the surface, cant say it is one.

There are things that can be tightened up, but the patch isnt a magic bullet. People are still getting lots of goals from strikers too. I'm just saying keep an open mind. After all, people still think the one hit counter is a bug, and it really isnt.

Do I need to post a screenshot of Torres' attributes and his goals? Yes, Fernando Torres. And I don't use the corner bug (Like many do and their strikers have crazy goals). I play him as False 9, he's got decent speed, he'd run on to through balls from my creative players from deep and he doesn't misses all that many chances like he does in real life, lol. He'd shoot at the keeper many times or just send it wide but he'll also score. My other striker, Timo Werner and Lukaku are also scoring. I use Timo as DLF and Lukaku as Target Man. I can't complain.

Edit: I use standard 4-3-3 Tactic with my Front three controlling the game. IF/F9/IF. I have shoot less often set to my IFs and they usually pass to my striker. One thing is, if you like to control game in opposition's half, your players will have restricted space as opposition has all of it's players in the box, striker's less likely to score. I play Counter-Attack/Control but still giving enough space to my attackers to exploit. I also use Run at defense instruction too. Most os the strikers need space to score (Even IRL), very few strikers can score in tight spaces (Messi, Rooney).
