it's like it is impossible to score from open play. the opposition goalkeepers save every single shot. and sure thing chances are usually shot right at the keeper by strikers. also when the striker goes one-on-one, he usually shoots from 25m out. what the ****?

Did you notice that your own goalkeeper was the best player on your team? If it hadn't been for your own goalkeeper you would probably have had a bigger loss. It goes both ways.
 
For some reason my wingers think they can shoot! I play as Arsenal with Walcott on the right and The Ox on the left and they BOTH run to the by line, cut inside and try a shot from a ridiculous angle. They are both on player instructions to CROSS MORE, SHOOT LESS and DRILL CROSSES and it has made 0 difference.

I've never played a copy of FM this soon after release and if this is what it is like every year before they iron the bugs with the ME then I don't think I'll bother.

You play them as Wingers or Inside forwards? Either they have Shoots from distance PPM or they have low Teamwork. Oxlade only has 10 Teamwork, so it's understandable. I play with Chelsea and Eden Hazard shoots more than providing assist to someone in better position, he's got 11 Team work. Composure also matters. Try teaching place shots if you can, that helps a bit. Andre Schurrle used to shoot uselessly until he learned that PPM, now scores more often.

What are the broken parts from 07? I wasn't playing the game then.
 
ok tried a new game with dundee utd,first game lost 3-2 to partick thistle after leading 2-1 with 8 mins to go.second game lost 3-2 to inverness after leading 2-1 with 10 mins to go.third game guess, yes lost 3-2 to hibs after leading 2-1 with 8 mins to go.fourth game well never got that far.
 
i am averaging just under 22 shots a game and have scored 18 goals, 280 shots, 18 goals, hmmmm

I dint spin anything, ye once again you jump on and miss the point.
Its nothing to do with spin. If you have nothing else to add, just don't bother conversing with me anymore. I'm more interested in getting people playing enjoying it more

Cheeks, I'd like to see you set up a thread in the tactics section pleas with screenshots of your team instructions and roles. Also from your last game like that, head to match analysis, and get a screenshot of where your chances were taken from

So you struggle against teams who push hard in the last 10 minutes? why did you give up after 3 games?

i shall do that for you mike, what do you want me to say in the thread? That i create lots but don't seem to convert? I shall put my screenshots in there as well. Think i will give info from 3 games, 1 where is create more than average, 1 where i create less and 1 that is about average, that ok?
 
I find it a wee bit annoying that most of my contract negotiations with players goes the way that they ask a high salary, I counter with a somewhat lower offer, and they rise their initial offer with like 25% and refuses to go down again.
 
i gave up because i was going to put my laptop threw my window.i just cant take anymore of this game at the momment,ill wait till the game is fixed.

Like I said you do realise its not all down to things needing fixing. The patch isn't going to suddenly cure everything for you.
