I doubt it, when I had Messi he would miss a lot of chances that even someone like Heskey would score. He would dribble past 3 defenders be one-on-one with keeper and still miss. It even got to the point where I had to fine him for poor form and constantly criticise him. In his report it says he's consistent and good in important matches and all his stats are perfect for most attacking positions and roles. So it clearly shows that SI have messed around with these guys' hidden stats to make them not play as well as they should.

They havent. Because that's not how it works. They are set by the researcher. also you can see their hidden attributes in the editor

I've never actually managed Messi, so I don't know how he performs with a human manager, but in my saves he gets ridiculously high ratings even in matches where he does little.

With Messi he was fine in the first season then I started to see how bad he got in the 2nd season. In the first ten games he would barely score and would get average ratings between 5/6. With Ronaldo he played poor since the very first game.

but ingame, obi mikel.. i wanted him in my chelsea side and he moaned and moaned all year because real madrid wanted him and i said no as he and essien were my defensive midfielders and i like to rotate, always had a bad morale state no mattr what i tried to do heh.

Worst game i've ever played, same thing all the time, strikers miss easy chances especially if your winning. If i go 2-0 up the other team will score instantly. Such a scripted game, gone downhill from FM12

Just sell him and get Lars Bender for that money, he does better job than Mikel for me, I also had to sell him because of moaning, his strength and composure is unmatched.

It doesnt happen as often irl, because most teams don't set up as badly/refuse to change, adapt or whatever as people do here. You've had this issue 2/3 years running, and its not like I haven't pointed out why you still have the same issues.

My team's setup up creates chance after, after chance, after chance... Only to be squandered by the striker or be saved by the keeper who's decided he's going to save everything today. The opposition isn't restricting me from creating at all. It's just how FM is.

Happens far too often.

Ronaldo always scores more than Messi in my saves, maybe it's because he takes A LOT of shots because of PPM Shoots from distance and low Teamwork? Messi plays many matches without even taking a shot. O.O

Messi is played as a MAR and Ronaldo is played as striker, that's why

You're being smashed on the counter on a regular occurence. The difference is, a real life manager doesnt consistently ignore that and leave themselves open. If it happens regularly, its tactical. It's entirely up to you decide to change it or not. Take a look at someone like the better half. If it was FM logic, why does she succeed at every level?

Because its not FM logic, but you consistently refuse to look outside this, so you are constantly frustrated. Last year i demonstrated just exactly how they were picking you off each time. You can either create a thread and upload your apporach and get some help, or you can have a look at TBHs threads and understand how and why it works, or check out the many brilliant threads on SI

Or you can continue down the path you are on, and remain frustrated, its up to you.

The keep doesnt decide that. The problem is, you've already decided there is nothing you cannot do, its just FM out to get you. Yet it doesnt happen to everyone else?

I couldn't believe that it was possibile, but it is: this game is worse than last year's.

Managing Olympique Lyonnais, I'm being a destroyer away and a total ****** team home...to make any sense it should be the other way round, shouldn't it?
How can you explain winning 0-3 at Montpellier, 1-2 at Nice, 3-4 at Monaco (!!!) and then losing 0-1 home against Guingamp, 2-3 home against Nantes and, listen to this...0-3 home with REIMS!!!

Fortunately I borrowed it from a friend of mine, I do not intend to waste my money on it this year.

As for what frustrates me... the world class goals being scored against me, and not for me. I wouldn't mind if my dudes were the ones who were chipping goalkeepers on the volley from the halfway line, but when I'm the only one who isn't doing it, I get annoyed. I've played 1 season with Newcastle, 7 goals of the month, nine runner up for goal of the month and the top 3 goals of the year were scored against me.

My recent frustration is if I am having a reasonably successful season and I come to renew my key players/staff contracts they ask for ridiculous wages that I cannot give them. It's like they take no account of a smaller clubs lack of funds for wages. Even when I offer bonuses and as high as possible wage they simply will not consider it.

Then needing to replace 5 or so players, usually of a lower quality which doesn't usually work out so well.

You know what? I'm the only one to blame who keeps wastin his time with this stupid game, which used to be my favourite one.

I always check pre season who's contracts are up at the end of the season, I'm utd and I got most of the players wages down by 10-20k. If I wait till the end of the season they want 50-60k on top of what they are getting. That's the reason I started a new game because I let 5 players leave because of their demands, I checked their wages at their new clubs and they were less than what they were already getting from me.
