I have and... your point is ? Let me guess: all games have bugs, right ?! Well, if you read what has been wroten you might find that the issue isn't about bugs.

And perhaps if you played more games and had more sense, you'd realise that compared to EA for example, SI are deified saints who save kittens and orphans from burning buildings.

Many things happens in football, good and bad, there are bad managers, good managers, bad players, good players and even bad players that score great goals, and world class players that miss goals. It's football and it's the art that makes football awesome. Yeap, that's the magic word: art ! Not logic ! And logic is what FM is, so it's two very different concepts and as for me I'm ok with this. A game it's always about logic, coding, programming, etc, etc, logic.

The problem of this logic is when I have a player delivering a short corner, receives back the pass from his team mate and it's offside and the opponent has 2 players right next to the posts. Now, this is when some of you say "well mate, all games have bugs, deal with it". That's true ! But the real problem is when people report bugs, day after day, week after week, month after month (because they are asked to do it ) and the problem remains. And not only the problems remains but they are even visible one year after when the new edition of the game is released.

I give you this as an example

EA are just complete utter horse**** imo. SI wipe the floor with them. Literally.

This is why SI's Football Manager is the only footie game I will ever play.

you: My micro-wave has problems
me: hum, right, can you send it to me ? Oh, and by the way, send me also examples of those problems

a few months later:
you: so, where is my micro-wave ?
me: well, after looking, our team has found out that your micro-wave problems are not important and we are not fixing that model, we are working with a new one.

Quite clear where the lack of sense is.

Strawman.

They're not taking your microwave away, they're essentially making a copy, leaving you with something that still works very well minus a few minor bumps. Compare that to EA, who would charge you three times as much for the microwave, sell you a 'Microwave season pass' for another sixty quid to actually make it work like a microwave does, have it break down three times a day, and then when it finally stops working they'd just entirely ignore you. Oh, and you need DLC before you can defrost things with it.

That analogy was ******* horrific.

Right your argument is that since EA is bad the problems with FM and SI are justifiable. Hum, that's an intense argument. EA is not even being discussed

It was on purpose. Empty arguments deserve empty analogies. But those are the kind of answers we get from them.

Fact is if you truly believe SI don't care, you know absolutely nothing whatsoever. If they didn't care-it would be financial suicide. They'd lose a ton, there'd be job losses. It's a completely unfounded accusation.
And just complete BS tbh

Still using the comparing argument ? You have to do better than that.
Few minor bumps ???? eheheheheheh, at least something that makes me laugh.

Bad translations, bad ortographics, brazilian words in a portuguese edition, off-sides bugged, strikers coming closer for a throw-in without being instructed to do so, corners bugged, players ignore opponents instead of closing down. And these are just a starter... minor bumps eheheheheheh

well, if you believe that, sure you also believe in Santa Claus

Where did I say that? You're strawmanning again.

All I said was if you want a real example of bad customer service, go to EA. If you want an example of amazing customer service, go to Valve. If you want an example of pretty good customer service, go to SI.

Not if your arguments are this easy to debunk I don't.

You really need to play some actually broken games and get some perspective. I played Rome II Total War on its release. That's made by a studio over three times as big as SI and isn't a yearly made game.

THAT was bad customer service and a buggy game. FM14 is not.

Bad translations, bad ortographics, brazilian words in a portuguese edition, off-sides bugged, strikers coming closer for a throw-in without being instructed to do so, corners bugged, players ignore opponents instead of closing down. And these are just a starter... minor bumps eheheheheheh

So that's one complaint broken into three separate ones to make it seem like there's more, a legitimate bug, a miniscule bug, a bug that doesn't actually exist, and another that doesn't seem to affect me at all and is thus likely a tactics problem.

Your reasoning is beyond flawed.

Why do you keep mentioning EA. I don't want EA, I don't need EA, I have already a very good example from SI.

And there you have it: you keep making comparisons to justify FM problems, first customer service, now it's Rome. Is this a FM forum or a comparing games forum ?

You need to do your maths better because it's two complains not three: Translations complains and ME complains. Ahhhhh the famous "it's your tactic" argument. Ok, so tell me exactly how can I improve my tactic when my player is catched off-side and the opponent team has the GK and two more players near the posts. Can you do this ? I would really, really like to know how can my tactic be improved in this example.

hummm or maybe it's my tactic when I have set Hassle Opponents and my winger, standing near the opponent Full-back, literaly turns his back to the FB and ignores him. It sure must be the tactic!

Wait, it's my tactic when I instruct my striker to go forward when there's a throw-in and suddenly... here he comes, getting closer to get the ball.

Oh, I was forgeting that hitting the posts every match it's also my tactic. In fact, according to RTHerringbone hitting the posts 1 or 2 times every match is quite normal or... wait for it, or it can be what ? Yeahhhh our tactics, because attacking strategies can lead to hitting the posts. I have to say that both arguments are quite realistic, we all see teams like Barca, Real Madrid, Man. City and so on and so on hitting the posts every **** match.

Actually it does sound about right. in real life football-during the 11/12 season (this is for the league btw), the following stats for hitting the woodwork:

In first place Man Utd. 22 times they hit the woodwork.
2nd place were Everton hitting the woodwork 20 times.
Liverpool 3rd with 16 times hitting the woodwork.

And there's going to be teams out there with far worse records. It doesn't matter what team it is-ANY team is capable of having a pants time when it comes to accuracy and that is a fact.
