This game sucks the big fat one, and I'm definitely not buying FM 2015.
 
and these horror stories are exactly why I am waiting to up date from 14.2.2. Yes scoring is still pretty hard to come by. My world-class team barely maintains a 2 goal per game average. But at least I am aware of the evils of this version. I'm going to wait until 14.3 is updated again and the bugs and tactics are ironed out before messing with that version!!

Also at least based on stats, matches like that happen IRL too. Costa isn't a WC GK but he became for one game.

My instant reaction was poor and I realized afterwards. Apologies again. The match engine does seem buggy but I sometimes feel people go overboard with criticism. This version of FM is the one where I've genuinely felt challenged and needed to be innovative tactically during match. Especially being a Chelsea fan, return of Jose has ignited that spark in me, lol.

Yeah the ME makes things look a lot horrible and worst thing is that corners can't be cleared properly (of your own team). Whenever an opposition gets a corner in last few minutes of a decisive game, I know it's going to be a goal, and not proper, but scramble.

I literally broke my laptop's screen after losing a match from set piece goal. The strikers that work in this game or at least in previous patch were Target Man. I had Mandzukic with 12 finishing, no shoot with power PPM and he scored for fun and did not waste many chances.

Ah yes. Last minute loss to a AI set piece. Anyone care to click like on this post who's suffered that particular PITA?

I don't mind being challenged tactically. I play all my matches full length (speeded up obviously) for precisely this point. But when you have 7 CCCs and your striker has 16 finishing and good composure, you would think you'd get more than 2 goals. The main bugbear I have is that when you look at the stats from other games (like in an earlier post) their CCCs and SOTs are way smaller than mine but they have much better scoreline.
 
My player got top scorer in the BPL by 6 goals and was Europe's top marksman... Still not had a cap for England. Not a huge frustration but still annoying enough
 
93 min, seconds left of game losing 2-1 to villa of all teams and im southampton, my team have time for 1 last attack and instead of attacking to try and ****** a point they decide to just keep passing back to the defence and end up losing 2-1, but yet we played fantastic against man u losing 4-3 which on another day could have gone my way and proably should have
 
Can anyone help me I get to much red cards I have had 2 in 3 games now and before I had 4 reds in a row
 
Ok this is weird. Played Crystal Palace in normal mode, drew 1-1. Played them again (forgot to save on exit) and played in commentary only. Also switched Bony to Target Man. Won....7-1 !!!! Is this the answer for now? to play in commentary only?
 
The computer MUST be CHEATING!! Not only did we dominate the offensive stats, but the computer pulled out the draw in a 91st minute off an OG cornerkick on one of only 4 corners they took the whole game!! Unbelievable!! Obviously our own goal came off a corner, because you can hardly score in this game unless it's from a set piece!! Followed by another OG losss! The Match Engine is utterly BROKEN!! I call BS!!!
And this wasn't against some powerhouse team. It was a bottom of the rung 14th ranked Cardiff! Not to mention at least a couple of goals taken away by 'offsides' calls!

Tried the update today.

First game - dominate Chelsea in stats. I score from a free kick on the wing (score about 75% of them in this game anyway). Second half 3 defenders fail to stop Grenier or whatever his name is, beats goalkeeper at his near post. OK. 3 minutes to go Gino Peruzzi plays a decent pass back to my goalkeeper following a good tackle on their striker. My goalkeeper keeps going towards where the Chelsea player would have been headed, and turns back just in time to see the ball roll in to our net. Unless he is actually ******* blind, why would this happen?

This game is just as **** as the last patch.

Were you playing as Spurs?
 
In League 1 with Cambridge United and sat 24th on a 9 game winless streak...

somehow i was beating Millwall 2-1 with 5 mins to go so i changed my strategy to preserve the lead and brought on a sub to waste time... In this time, despite the game being paused, i miss two highlights, both of which are millwall goals and i go on to lose 3-2.
 
Chaps. Some small resolution has been to make my striker TM and only use commentary. I don't mind the TM thing, but to have to only use commentary to get results ****** me off. That said, I'm now winning 4-0 and so on.
 
How the **** can Nemanja Vidic chase Eden Hazard from about half line to make a last ditch tackle? 18/17 acc/pace v 9/10 acc pace.

Yeah its like the game interpreted the farce at the chavs. It's very frustrating to have a goalkeeper just keep going the wrong way, I don't think even our 4 assists were that bad! Maybe Walkers...
