Yeah just noticed that. Who knows though-for all we know, another company could be working on something that absolutely no-one knows about. Time for someone else to step up to the plate. EA could've done something special but-it wasn't to be.

I gave up on this game. I don't even watch the matches anymore, I just sim them. I can't stand watching the game, it's so... bad... at least this way assman with my tactic and my squad selection actually win the games. I'm really that bad at FM14.

Just gave you a couple, you ignored them, therefore I'm just going to leave it. I'm no tactics master, but at least I'm not so bad I just blame the game.

Did I ??? and you come to that conclusion because.... oh, I remember, because you believe a weaker team is more physical fit after 65 minutes running after the ball, and since that team was loosing by 3-0, along with being more fit they would also be very motivated. Yeah, it's the potatoe logic.

You only mentioned that there was a minor problem with offsides and you also stated that you don't have the specific problems that I mentioned and because you don't have it, they don't exist and it's my tactics. So, I'll ask you again: how is my tactic when I instruct my striker to go forward when there's a throw-in and he insists in coming closer to get the ball ??? Tell me!

At least try to give some respect to more intelligent members of the forum, who 9 times out of 10 go out of their way to help people. the 1 out of 10 we give up on because they are too busy ranting and raving and don't listen.

So what's the problem here? Is the problem that this game isn't realistic enough or is it problem that something doesn't make sense? Because there isn't such thing as perfect simulation. Every game has flaws, you need to learn them and avoid them. Yes, that means exploiting the match engine, but ****, if you want to win, you have to do that. You have to exploit the game in some shape. For me, only real issue is accuracy of 3d. If they can fix it, I think lot of our issues with tactics will be solved.

They're trying to improve the match engine as much as possible, but honestly if it were up to me they'd fix a couple of major bugs and then do a big graphical overhaul. Too often people blame the ME for being bad when in fact it's the graphics that can't properly convey what's happening on screen.

Always fun when there's someone ready to pop-up and state "it's your tactics". Something new for these ones: all tactics have flaws, all tactics have goods and bads. So, if you are ready to pop-up with empty statements like "it's your tactics", please don't run away when specific examples are presented, examples that were reported to SI with detailed pkm's and that choose to ignore, ME examples and translations examples.
And let's not forget the short corner from FM13 that didn't work and we have to wait almost year. Oh, sorry, the short corner is still a mess: the player that should come closer to receive the ball stands almost at the penalty box and almost being man-marked. It's not fixed yet.

Same question for you with one of the examples I presented before: How is it my tactics OR how can I exploit the match engine (as you say) when there's a throw-in for my team my striker keeps coming closer to get the ball without being instructed to do so ?
You should've seen first BETA version of FM14. That was buggy as ****. This now is milk and honey, tough it needs work. I can only hope they can work out some thinks, put in some new, more accurate animations, that would be pretty **** good.
I have no idea man, like I said, I'm **** at FM14, but logical thing would be that you didn't instruct any other players to come short. I personally don't have problems with that. I have striker instructed to go on the far post. Maybe that's the trick... I really don't know. In tactical part of fm14, I'm a big noob. If you need any kind of technical help, feel free to ask me.

I can't help you without actually seeing what they are et al, and frankly I might not be able to help you anyway since I'm not amazing, but frankly all of that's moot because you don't care about improving, you just want to complain about the game. And that's fair, this is the frustration thread after all, but hiding behind a guise of wanting the game to get better or somesuch bollocks is ridiculous. You've ignored pretty much everything I've said that's pertinent, which is a pretty good indication.
New animations would be excellent, but first sharpening up of current ones is the priority. Sadly I don't think this will happen. It's a shame, but I can understand their viewpoint.

I only reported things after trying different options, because as in football also in FM it's perfectly common sense that players make mistakes. So, when setting a short throw-in, giving instructions to players where they should stand, and then seeing my striker 1, 2, 3, dozens of times in different matches coming closer to receive the ball, one has to ask: how can these guys say "it's my tactics"
Yea, that was my idea as well. More accurate animations. It doesn't need to be something new, just as you said, to sharpen them. SI has pretty good communication with its fan base, it enough people identify the problem, they will fix/upgrade it. I don't play FIFA, I'm in the majority of people who still plays PES ( Habit is a bad thing, I know.) but just like EA, Konami doesn't particularity care about people who play its game. I only hope SI wont become like that now that they have monopoly.

I think aswell, with the advent of virtual reality technology (a la Oculus Rift) it opens more possibilities with the game aswell with regards to ingame graphics.
