Just won 3-2 against Arsenal with Chelsea, after being behind 0-2. The match before that I also beat Paris SG 5-0 :)
 
I won Double in my first season at Arsenal... Following in Wenger's footsteps!
 
Managed to recover from a period of 5 games without a win in February/March to turn a 3 point deficit with 3 games remaining into a title with Ajax. Went into the final game of the season ahead by 2 goals, thought I'd end up doing a City, but PSV bottled it and drew.

Also made the Quarters of the CL, went out to Bayern 3-2 on agg. but was pretty happy with managing to beat them 2-0 anyway.
 
Finally getting some joy out of FM, using a basic 4-4-2 and using shouts :)

Had a really bad injury crisis (playing as Everton) and had Liverpool coming up at Anfield.

Had a 15 year old on the bench (rated 4 1/2 stars potential) who had just come through the youth intake. Brought him on with the scores at 0-0 with 20 mins to go and he scored the winner! Youngest ever prem player and scorer! :)
 
I beat someone (i can't remember who) with Corby town in the BSN 7-1. It was 0-0 at half time :)

Anyone tell me where Steam saves the screenshots as I can't find them anywhere?
I've looked on the Steam menu and then to my screenshots but all I get is how to take the pictures.

Found them, it loads up underneath the main Steam proggy! Silly but anyway...

I took charge at Crystal Palace at the start of my save and won promotion in the 1st season with them we annihilated almost everyone and they were some way off at the end.

As for Roma they are playing very well in the league having beaten AC Milan 4-1 at the San Siro and Lazio 5-0!

I haven’t played football manager since the days of Championship manger 10 odd years ago.

Thought I would reignite my love for the game and bought FM13 when it was released. Being and avid Arsenal fan I took over from Arsene and finished my first season over the weekend.

What can I say, won Capital One cup, finished 5th in the league while Tottenham finished 4th but I only went and one the Champions league! In my first season! With very minor changes to the team, bought Hunterlaar (ST) in January window so not able to play in the Champions League, Schmelzer (LB), and some unknown (CB). Sold Arshavin, Gervinho.

Is this normal? Do many of you have such success in the first season? Or is it just pure luck? Or does Arsene have to watch his back as I am on his tail? :P
