David Amoo and Nathan Eccleston start on the wings as Roy Hodgson takes charge of his first Liverpool match against Grasshoppers this evening. Our exclusive online coverage of the game starts an hour before kick-off at 5.30pm BST.

With 13 senior stars still recovering from the World Cup, it is a young and inexperienced side that will take to the field at the Herti Stadium in Zug, Switzerland.
The team in full is: Cavalieri, Degen, Darby, Kelly, Ayala, Amoo, Eccleston, Lucas, Spearing, Aquilani, Ngog. Subs: Gulacsi, Irwin, Palsson, Robinson, Shelvey, Ince, Dalla Valle, Riera.
 
Liverpool match is very boring, it's just us chasing them around like Tom & ******* Jerry
 
Tonight Tottenham play NY Red Bull in the first match of the NY Football challenge which also features Sporting Lisbon and Manchester City. All games will be live on ESPN at 1am

Tonights game is live on ESPN at 1am and will feature the debut of Thierry Henry for the Ny Red Bull side.

On a tour of the Far-East we have played two games, the first against a Hong Kong select XI, they looked fairly impressive and at one point had the advantage on us at 2-1. We pulled back with two goals in the last 10 minutes from Craigy Gardner and Garry O'Connor, which won us the game combined with Scott Dann's opener. We played another match yesterday, at the Olympic (Bird's nest) Stadium in front of 50,000, beating Beijing Guoan 1-0 from another Garry O'Connor goal. We could have had more with Nikola Zigic hitting the cross bar, but the performances so far have been promising for the season.

If Garry O'Connor can stay injury free he could be really shine this year, him and Zigic look a beastly partnership.

ajax 3-1 chelsea. full time korean suk with a 90min goal. in all a poor performance from a reserve side with a few exceptions. cant wait for terry, lampard. drogba etc to come back

I dont want to offend any Man City fans and i know that their first choice team is alot better than the one theyve put out tonight but Sporting are absolutley dominating them. Vukcevic & Djalo look immence.
