Oh just when i was doing that, I went to untick the "Play offside" option but it was already set to "no" is that right or was it supposed to say "yes"? Sorry for the 20 questions hahahah
 
Well as promised here is the league table and my results halfway through the season, in the results screenie, the Levante match is were I changed the defence to Stopper/Cover and im still conceding but im getting a better player rating out of Pichu Atienza:

My transfers are there as well to show you who I sold and bought and my board has just given me another 16mil (I think the stats of the chairman may just be done at random each time you start a new game, I never had this before for Sociedad, not that im complaining mind you). Need a better playmaker and RB (im thinking Santon who is out of contract in the summer). Overall im pleased because anything is better than 18th hahaha
 
not bad at all mate, it seems as though everyone is conceding alot, what Barca have conceded in your SS is more than in the past two full seasons on my current save with Villareal (3rd season) I won the BBVA 2nd season though the bastards... Mariga is a great Cm :) nice job!
 
Yeah this season has been wierd, in the last save i did Valencia almost got relegated (if they had id would have bought a load of players of them =]) Mariga has been my best player through all of this, unfortunately Griezman hasnt performed as well as i hoped. Any ideas on a playmaker i could get for under 10mil? I desperately need one an signed Horava in the hope he would develop to be a good one like my scout said...but hes an epic fail!

Thanks ive just rumaged through my scout reports and found Dario Conca, he seems to fit the bill, ill probably sign Ekdal as well =]
 
I bought Hazard for the second season. Is he a good option for the AMR-Winger-Attack role right? Because he's natural position is in the left. Should i swap all the instructions and put the Adv Playmaker as AMR and the Winger as AML? The problem is that this would make the match preparation go back, and im already very fluid/really fast speed game!
 
yeah he is great anywhere (I have personally never played him in Fm11) but he is a great player! changing player roles and duties have nothing to do with the match prep, only if you change the actual formation :) so dont stress....

change both roles to wingers ;)
 
going to start a new save with stoke.... do you think it will work??? sorry for my bad english
 
your english is better than a lot of other memebers who are english bud :) there was nothing grammatically wrong with what you said....

It could work well, give it a try, why Stoke? do you support them? I would suggest West Ham or Sunderland or Everton :)
 
What way do you use your striker? seems too score a few then stop. cant get carroll scoring at all. and i concede a fair bit too what do you suggest.
 
what role do you have Carrol as? have you edited his PI's? not letting him run with the ball too much, not letting him make forward runs, make sure he holds up the ball etc etc ;)

changing the roles of your defenders or maybe changing the defensive line to deep and play quicker if you want ;)
 
then use the touchline shout "work ball into box" :) as well as set the players long shots slider to never, what are these players PPM's? shoots from range, shoots often?
 
I know it slightly off topic but when you play 2 strikers what roles usually go best together?

target man/poacher or advanced forward/deep lying forward tend to work great,but it mostly depends on what players u have
 
Gonna be giving this a go with Celtic. I have two questions though:

1) i don't have a playmaker for the AML spot, so i will be playing Paddy McCourt there. Should i change his settings?

2) Should i ever change the starting strategy to something else than Attacking? What about when playing Rangers away, or facing bigger teams in Europe? Cheers!

Actually I just wan to make history with stoke.... looking at the team history they never won league cup, FA cup, Champion league and etc... :)

If I'm using stoke... what player should i buy??? sorry if my English is bad :)

Btw, I dont have any transfer budget cause i unable 1st transfer budget using LFC transfer update... if i enable it MAN CITY WILL GO NUTS!!!!!!

yeah of course, when playing bigger teams set it to standard or counter or even Defend and play safe and try get a late goal for the win :)

thats good Ian, how much cash can you generate from selling sqaud players and asking the board?
