Hey Raikan, just finished my first season with Porto using this tactic. Slightly tweaking it to fit my players, and it worked a treat. Won the league and the Portuguese cup. I didn't have much success in Europe, but that was more to do with my approach the the matches I think.
Only lost one game in the league and conceded 16 goals, the least in the league.

thats pretty impressive mate, well done :) good to see you had a sound defense as well which is the main area of this tactic! congrats! what does your team look like? post a SS?
 
I have started a new game with stoke to test this tactic, as i thought they are probably one of the worst teams to use for it. I brought in Badelj, Enoh, Battaglia, Petrovic and Ivanschitz.

I am currently 7th, my team is currently
GK-Begovic
DR-Wilkinson
DCR-Shawcross
DCL- Huth
DL- Collins
DMC- Petrovic
CMR- Enoh
CML- Badelj
AMR- Pennant
AML- Etherington
St- Jones/Fuller

Pre season went great winning every game against some decent sides even though fitness levels were very low. I tweaked with the formation a bit so that the full backs are less offensive as Collins/ Wilkinson aren't good enough going forward for how it is, i have also made the ball winner more defensive and the def mid more offensive.
Season so far:
Stoke 1-1 WBA
Chelsea 2-2 Stoke
Stoke 3-1 Southampton(LC)
Stoke 4-0 Liverpool
Bolton 1-3 Stoke
Stoke 1-3 Man Utd
Stoke 3-0 Doncaster(LC)
Sunderland 1-0 Stoke
Blackburn 0-1 Stoke
Stoke 0-0 Arsenal

The games which i should of won (WBA and Sunderland) were down to poor finishing rather than getting outplayed. I don't know how Man Utd won as they only had 3 shots against my 15. I really didn't deserve anything against Chelsea just got really lucky.

The wingers are performing very well Etherington 7 games, 4 goals and 2 assists. Pennant 7 games, 2 goals and 3 assists. I am rotating between Jones and Fuller, jones has 5 games with 4 goals and 1 assist, Fuller has 4 games 3 goals and 2 assists. Battaglia was my first choice ball winner until he got injured for 3 months but he had 4 games, 2 goals and 3 assists. The other midfielders are playing quite well just not creating a lot. The defence has been very good apart from on set pieces so i have changed that but i haven't played any games since, and Shawcross was sent off twice in the first 4 games which didn't help the defence.

Looking a very good tactic and will post updates later on in the season.

I'm starting my last career with FM2011 and it's going to be Celtic! :)

I'm wondering if this tactic would work well with the team, I heard winning the league is not much of a challange but being successfull at the championship league is not that easy.

I've got some questions tho:

1.) What signings do you recommend for Celtic with this tactic? (playing ofc 11.3, not sure how much money I got for signings and wage budgets) (I heard getting Enyeama is well worth it because the actual team lacks a good goalkeeper as Boruc has been sold.)
2.) Do I really have to change the philosophy to balanced or even rigid untill everything gets to "fluid" level? Does it change a lot in terms of the success of the tactic?
3.) Regarding the Touchline Shouts: do I have to put these as the match starts or how to use them properly?

Well I've got only these 3 questions, would appreciate it if you could take the time to answer them. You are such a dedicated FM player and scout, everything you do in the forums just makes me think you are one darn great guy. So thank you for the hard work and everything. :)

hey mate, the tactic will suit Celtic :)

1) I am not sure of the budget for Celtic, if you can give me an idea can work a few angles and deals for you :) also need to know what nations you load up to see if some players will be in your game or not :)

2) it does not change anything about the tactic long term mate ;) it just ensures your team play to the tactic and keep it simple while trying to get used to the new formation etc

3) I put them on as soon as the game starts, I found that these ones worked best with this tactic, as soon as I am 1 or 2 up I change or take them off etc.. it all depends on the situation and where you can see that you are getting the most productive attacking situations from :)

At the start Celtic have 5 million GBP but I'm about to sell some guys that are high-earning and not having great stats at all so I'll have around 10 million. But as I said Celtic need a good goalkeeper, I can get Dida for like a season but for long term Enyeama would be much better choice. (Dida is free but old, Enyeama is expensive and the team is not only in need of a GK)

Who would be better for the amr spot James Forrest or Maloney? I found Forrest a bit better but you are better at this so I thought why not to ask you :)

edit: I got 117 leagues from 51 nations so pretty much everything is loaded up

Season was going very well, i was 6th before January, but then in the transfer windows the board accepted bids for Badelj, Shawcross and Huth so i had no attacking midfielder in the team and seen as the team was based around the defence having my first choice centre backs sold wasen't ideal. Gone down hill very quickly i am currently 14th and probably going to give up and maybe try it with another team, i was thinking either lower english league or a team in Russia/Ukraine.

Is Dida any good for one or two season?

And I found this guy named Roland Juhasz, he has some pretty nice stats but he is slow as ****, should I get him?
 
Roland Juhasz from Anderlecht, 18 marking, he is good, he will be good for Celtic!

Dida is ok, he asks for quite heavy wages I think though... up to you :)
 
Can't sign a lot of good players cause of the work permission they don't seem to be able to get. :-/

Well I managed to get a squad that I'm very happy with. (talking about Celtic ofc) We lost against Zenit (SADFACE) so we are not gonna be Championship League winners this year (SADFACE, no..not really). Starting the scottish league now, will update you how it goes. This years goal is to win the league ofc and get to the final or close to it in the UEFA.

Well! 7 wins, 2 loses and 1 tie... it's the summary with the last 10 matches with this tactic in Hertha BSC Berlin. My team scores a few goals with this tactic, but defense (that is worst i have in my team) makes really good games. Greetings and Thanks! =)
