Bro Raul are u change the raikan 433 tactic with your marseile??amazing u can beat barca superior team....please share your changing raikan tactic I want see,because I use raikan tactic I can't take liverpool to runner up...I lose again at zenit 1-5 oh my god

just an update on this tactic, I was using my 4-4-2 tactic here... Angels approach...... and it was going through a bit of a slump... so I decided to switch completely to this tactic and got some good results (Villa was my 1st game with this tactic)

The only thing i've changed about the tactic was the player roles.

Here is my CL team in first season:

GK: Mandanda
RB: Fanni
RCB: Mbia
LCB: Heinze
LB: Taye Taiwo

DMC - Edouard Cisse
MCR - Benoit Cheyrou / Andre Ayew
MCL - Lucho Gonzalez / Edgar Davids
AML - Mathieu Valbuena / Jesper Gronkjaer
AMR - Loic Remy
ST - Christian Benitez (or Gignac)

here are the player roles:
Edgar Davids - Deep lying playmaker support (if he's DM) or Ball winning midfielder support
Edouard CIsse - Defensive Midfielder Defend
Benoit Cheyrou, Andre Ayew, Lucho Gonzalez - Advanced Playmaker support
Loic Remy - inside forward attack
Gronkjaer, Valbuena - Winger Attack
Christian Benitez - Poacher Attack
Taye Taiwo - Wing back / Full back Support
Fanni - Full back defend - Mbia also if you play him as RB
Hilton, Mbia - Central Defender Cover
Heinze, Diawara - Central Defender Stopper

Gignac - TArget Man Attack / Complete Forward Attack
Fabrice Abriel - Advanced playmaker support
Jordan Ayew - Winger Attack / Poacher
Samir Malcuit (pretty good guy) - Poacher
Leyti N'Diaye - depends on the position, as DM - Anchorman, as DC - I think cover
Kabore - Play him as DM Defend or instead of Fanni

Against Barca i did everything Raikan said as touchline instructions, but I changed the tactics mentality from Attacking to Contain or to Counter (1 match Contain other one Counter)

edit: Oh yeah, you have to take into consideration, OM is currently a top team in Ligue 1, with Lille & Lyon best next to him, while Liverpool has much stronger opposition in the premiership, and it's much harder to play with Liverpool

So, I had a little brake from FM, motnh or two, but now I have decided to start a though save with AS Monaco. Looking at the playersm I think this tactic should do well from my team. I will give you feedback in a few days:) But so far so good.

Yes, I have played 10 games, and my defence is really vurnerable. Monaco is not so great squad in this FM, but I will try on. Most of the games end with the tie like 2-2. But I will give them some time to gel:)

hey Algenstein, thats strange as this is one of the best defensive tactics there is.... who are you Cb's? if you go up, set it to Defend or Contain and play a shorter passing game etc... dont just leave the tactic as is for the whole game.... you need to adapt it to the game.....
 
I'm playing with Freiburg,first season 4th,one point difference for ECC 4-4-2-2,putsila ownssssssssssssssss

anyway,tryed tactic,it is okay,not bad at all
 
haha, this tactic was made around Putsila :) he is one of my favourite players in Fm after my save :) what a gem! predicted to finish 17th 1st season, I got 6th place :) good luck mate :)
 
What transfers did u do first season with freiburg?, im struggling really hard as freiburg first season, only buying Kadlec,
 
pleasure bud :) try and win the DFB Pokal it will get you into Europe if you dont qualify from the league :) won it in my 1st two seasons :)
 
I know it is. My defenders are Puygrenier and Hansson. Pretty good stats. But they have a lot of problems with counter balls into space. I tried then normal defence, it is the same. But I also have to say that I was leaking goals from set pieces a lot. Especially from direct fk. But it is getting better now with some tweaks and that. I always change mentality and speed and everything during the match, but for now not soo good. But I will carry on, I hope I dont get fired first beacuse I have to push for EURO Cup:)

I've just started playin' FM 2011 (i know, late isn't it...).

Anyway, tried your tactic with a belgian team (Lierse SK). But problem is: I always seem to play draws...
7 games: 6 draws, 1 loss

Do you have any hints, because don't know what to change??
 
I used this tactic for a while, I started with a small team in French Nat and I am now in 1st division. I like this tactic but on some game, I lost 5-0 and all my defense failed.
I don't have a big team so I tried to change offensive by standard or counter, I tried also to move the defense lower but same result.
So what can I do? Maybe some specific attribute(s) to check?
what is your recommendations?
