It doesn't matter what role he has, just those instructions assigned to him matter. Inside forward and winger with same modified PIs act in the same way.
 
Why don't you play Hulk in the 'wrong flank' because he cut inside with his left foot?Also this is the same role for C Ronaldo if I'm not mistaken?

it wasnt meant to show how Hulk plays it represents how Emmerich played ;)

True, sadly a pretty self explanatory thread title and numerous posts by others seem to be "hidden".
Seeing as though everyone usually just reads the first post nothing else then posts somthing that's been said 23 times at some point already.


Also the Beckenbauer is going to be fun, I've tried using sweepers before and had no real luck with them.
 
I have implemented those 3 forwards on my Chelsea 4-3-3 formation, Neymar as messi, Kadlec as Pele and Souza as Emmerich.

I put both Neymar and Souza as Inside Winger, kadlec as deep lying forward
Sometimes they do good sometimes they dont.. its weird.

Anyone else tested this?

First what's Souza's first name? Second, I feel it's too much to have 3 of those tactics at once, I think that you should rather put one of them out. Third, I think it would work better if Neymar was played in Pele role and Kadlec as Messi although Kadlec isn't and doesn't become nearly as good as any of those to but I just feel it would work better this way.

Its Diego, Diego Souza. thanks for the tip, i'm going to try putting once tactics for one match, and so on
 
The Emmerich role is exactly what I've been trying to do with Podolski, with limited success to be honest. Look forward to trying it out and posting results. Out of interest Laffles, does the striker in the screenshots have 'move into channels' on?

Just a question, Laffles. I'm trying to understand the tactic part of this game, but it seems as I'll never get it.

When using one of your role, Messi for instance, but it only suit Messi? Or would it suit any player who's balance, agility, dribbling and finishing is superior to the defenders/goalkeepers they meet?

As I'm trying to make my own tactics and stuff, that's gives results, makes my team play like champs etc, I'm using Manchester United. Could I then, use Nani in a Messi role? I enjoy the game now, to a certain degree, but I really think understanding the tactics etc would make it a million times more enjoyable. I hope you can answer this!

Yeah, The 'Messi' Role was designed for Messi BUT will work with any player of a similar set of attributes. Nani fits this mould.

Love the new role, never heard of the player, but it's a role which fits so many modern forwards. Will definitely have to try it out!
 
I'm currently using the Emmerich role on Eden Hazard at AML, works like a charm. Also, the Pelé role on Del Piero gives the word Legend a whole new meaning! Thanks!
