i was playing with steve-o the other night basic stuff really hunting bears anyway we both decided to start chucking throwing knives at eachothers legs we just crouched for a while whilst we was chatting all of a sudden this gigantic bear launches at us both ive never crapped myself so much at a game
 
wered did you get it from at that price ive been everywere and nobodys even got it in stock

apparently rockstar and uk have had some availability issues of some sort at least thats what the man in Chips said

True their always amazing there games, Just wanted even to play the demo before I can afford to buy the game in the next week or 2 all my friends have it its so annoying !

So I take it you have to do all strangers missions, assault all gang hide-outs and stuff to get 100% completion?
 
I imagine the completion % is based on the following:

- Main storyline
- Stranger missions
- Ambient missions (Blue dots appearing while travelling)
- Ambient challenges (Survivalist, Sharpshooter, etc)
- Outfit selection

Seems about right to me.
 
For 100% completion, according to the official guide.

Main Storyline
Gang Hideouts
Bounty Hunter jobs
Win all mini games
Stranger missions
All houses owned
All outfits
Collect 5 rare weapons - Mauser Pistol, LeMat Revolver, Carcano Rifle, Evans Repeater, Semi-Auto Shotgun
Five Jobs - MacFarlane's Ranch, Chupurosa's & Blackwater's Nightwatch jobs. Ridgewood Farm's & Chuparosa's Horsebreaking jobs.
Discover all locations

The Ambient challenges are require because it unlocks the Legend of the West suit.

Interesting... so the ambient missions (blue dots) aren't required for completion? Might stop bothering with them then, as there's so many. I already have all properties, and only need 2 outfits.

Those jobs, do they only have to be done once each?

It says nothing about the ambient mission encounters for 100%. (helping people chased by wolves/cougars etc)

Yes, 1 each as they are reccuring so you'd never be able to fully complete them.
 
Just realised today that when you hogtie someone you can then cut their throat.

What can you do with flowers? Do you sell them or are they useful?

Minor spoiler containing some flowers, below.

You need 10 Red Sage for a stranger mission (Daedelus And Son) in Mexico.

Mostly they are for selling, though.
