The Leeds defender joined for a fee believed to be around £7.5 million. Corden said he feels that the right back has been preforming well enough in the Championship to make the jump into the Premier League and feels that he can be a long term player for the club.

The second Leeds player to join the CM/LM should get some first team time and can grow into a great player for the club. He's got a good set of stats and they should still increase given his age.

Bruno Martins Indi
View attachment 189897The Porto centre back who also has 31 caps for the Netherlands is a great signing for the club and has low wages. An £11.5 million signing he should be a rock in the heart of the defence and stare down strikers.

The Barcelona youth product cost £6.6 million with one cap for Spain he has great potential and could go on to be a leading player for West Ham for years to come. Hopefully he brings some Barcelona talent to West Ham.

Thiago Maia

The talented young midfielder signed from Santos at 18 he is already a great player and has a lot of room to grow and could become a fixture at the club in years to come. A cheap signing at 2.2 million.

Bartomej Dragowski

The next in a long line of Polish goalkeepers Dragowski can hopefully go on to be the best of the lot and excel in the Premier League. I'm not sure if he will get that much time this year but, he should continue to grow and excel as a player. Another cheap signing at 2.6 million who should come good in years to come.

Marvel, Fiege in a show of restraint

New Sunderland Chairman and Owners Marvel were true to their world and showed caution in throwing money in their new acquisition. They have not spent a single penny on new signings instead focusing on a slew of loan signings from the premier league as well as the globe to strengthen their side and add some depth.

The Cash strapped Sunderland fans were left disappointed when the usually extravagant Marvel team decided not to invest heavily in the team and instead resorted for freebies and loan. Although no money has been spent, Sunderland have made some pretty smart acquisitions that has added great depth to their team and hopefully will see them to survival while the new board works towards financial security.

SUNDERLANDS' NEW AVENGERS'

Joe Gomez is an ex-Charlton Starlet and current Liverpool Defender who impressed in his first few matches at the club has signed for Sunderland for the season. The young defender who can play both at left back and centre back will be a able deputy for Patrick at left-back as well as a young blood to the aging centre backs at the club currently. His enthusiasm is just what the aging Sunderland back line needs.

SAIDO BERAHINO IS A COUP!
Berahino is one of the hottest centre forwards in England and to secure his signing for the season is a huge statement by Sunderland and adds to their plethora of young forwards. Fiege is hoping that stalwarts like Defoe along with young heads like Borini, Lens and Berahino can fire the club from their current slump. Berahino can play in all four attacking positions which adds to his charm. It is believed that Fiege has agreed to let Arsenal Chairman JAY-Z give the music for his next Avenger film in exchange for the favor of getting Berahino on loan.

Goncalo Guedes is a current Benfica and Portugal U-21's winger/forwards who is known for his electric pace and mazy runs and currently being pursued by Manchester United has been secured for the season. Sunderland are looking to add an element of unknown by adding Guedes.

The final signing of the window is ex-Villa captain and Netherlands international Ron Vlaar. Although the signing has not yet been confirmed by the FA, Vlaar adds some much needed steel to the defense and makes the number of first team central defenders to 6, although with 2 of the beyond 34 and injury prone, the number is needed by Sunderland to go through the season. Currently injured, Vlaar will be a nifty signing for Sunderland, pending approval of course.
