Before I start with the update, I'd like to say that most of the registration issues have been fixed. However, there are certain players (such as Joe Allen, Dusan Tadic and Kieran Trippier) who simply refuse to get registered. I've tried everything I can do (such as unregistering random U21s or injured players) to make room for these players but nothing seems to work. As such, if any of you guys have suggestions on what I should try to fix this, please share!
With that being said, this is all she wrote for October.

Table

New leaders, as Arsenal sit atop the table come the end of October. Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham round off the top 4, although Tottenham do have a game in hand (they play on November 1) and could overtake Chelsea with a win. In 5th place, we have Manchester United, who have (finally) come to life. Elsewhere, the likes of Southampton, Leicester, Swansea and Norwich build on their impressive starts to the season, while Crystal Palace manage to pull off two wins to escape the drop zone. At the bottom of the table are Aston Villa who look set to be relegated after four (or five?) seasons of hard work towards achieving that goal.

Surprise of the week: It's Liverpool, who suffer a humiliating defeat at home against Crystal Palace. In pulling off this upset, Crystal Palace have ended a run of 7 straight defeats in the league. Chelsea also feature, as Carlos Tevez almost single-handedly rips them apart at Stamford Bridge.

Surprise of the week: Man City's undefeated start to the season is ended by a comprehensive defeat to arch-rivals Man Utd at home.

Surprise of the week: Nothing really stands out. If I had to pick, it would probably be the two North-London clubs failing to win games that they really should be winning. That would however be unfair on both Norwich and Swansea, who've been brilliant thus far.

JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW INFORMATION
As the January window approaches, I think a better way of managing the transfer window would be to handle all of our business first before simming, as this would hopefully avoid registration issues. Another alternative would be to sim to a point around halfway through January (or maybe till the end of the FA Cup third round), handle transfers and then sim forward. Do let me know which one you guys would prefer!
In keeping with real-life, the January window will be shorter than its summer counterpart. There will be one window for all types of transfers. There will
NOT be a second-chance window in January.
Once the January window is done, I'll sim faster so that we can reach the end of the season faster (maybe one month per day). Then you guys can put out your end of season pressers and we can move on to the end-of-season awards, chairman of the year and all the good stuff.
Any objections or suggestions in general? Do let me know!
