Everton Updates

Everton Premier League Review

SEPTEMBER

September went unbeaten for the Toffees as we defeated West Ham and Newcastle. There were 2 hard fought draws away from home at West Brom and Leicester. Overall, 8 points from these fixtures made this a good month.

There was also a spat between Naismith and Martino and Steven has been put up for sale.

Player of the month: Daniel Carrico
Daniel has been slowly becoming the rock at the back with some good performances over the past month.

OCTOBER

A loss to Southampton. Draws against Hull and Stoke. October did not bring any cheer to the Everton fans. 2 points were gained courtesy to Gonzalo Higuain, who is somehow pulling this team on his own now. Questions are being raised on Martino's tactics after dire performances at home to Stoke and Southampton.
Everton were also dumped out of League Cup after losing to Arsenal.
Sylvester Stallone is rumored to be visiting Merseyside in November and there will be talks on Martino's future if the results do not improve. Everton's next 4 fixtures: Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham. Next 2 months are going to be very important.

Player of the Month: Gonzalo Higuain
The only shining spark of the month. He will be needing support from the rest if Everton are to challenge for European spots.

November

A little respite after a disappointing October. Everton record back to back victories for the first time in almost 2 months. The opponents you ask? Red halves of Manchester and Liverpool. We beat Manchester United 2-1, both goals coming from Higuain as expected.

The neighbors were dismissed 1-0, thanks to goal from Viktor Fischer.

However, the mood was somewhat tempered by a loss to Spurs. Fans are still happy as they have the Derby bragging rights.
Overall 6 points from a possible 9, and against top class opponents, makes this a successful month.

Player of the Month: Andrija Zivkovic
He scored in the loss to Spurs, but he was also brilliant in the other games. The interchanges between Higuain and Zivkovic sometimes were a joy to watch.

Target for December:

December will be a big month.

Fixtures:
Chelsea (Away), Wolves (Away), Sunderland (Home), Norwich (Home), QPR (Away).

Expected Points:
7

Sylvester is visiting England and will be present on Boxing Day. The results have improved, but as per the newspapers, Martino's position is still insecure.

When asked about Martino's future, Sly replied: "I know I'm incredibly unpredictable, and that's the only thing I'm sure of."

The next few games were not good losing both and being knocked out of the third round of the Capital One cup. But things improved with two big wins and getting revenge on Newcastle for the Capital One cup defeat. Current position 11th

A reverse of the previous months with us moving on to 3 wins in a row with a nice 2-0 win at home to West Brom. However things went bad with 2 defeats in a row which knocks us down to 14th.

Overall I am quite happy with how things have gone. Kevin Gameiro has been great scoring 6 league goals and providing 2 assists.

SEASON 3 - DECEMBER UPDATE

English Premier League

View attachment 163167

Manchester City may have lost their first game of the season, but they're still 6 points ahead of second placed Arsenal. Chelsea's topsy-turvy season continues as they climb back into the top 3, with QPR dropping into 4th place. Man Utd are down in 6th place, behind the resurgent Tottenham. However, they do have a game in hand. Liverpool's slump continues as they fall down to 9th place. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the table, Leicester are back in the drop zone, joining West Ham and Brighton.

Arsenal and Chelsea with potentially tricky ties against Leverkusen and Atletico respectively. Manchester City are at home in the first leg of theirs but have the easiest tie of the round against AS Monaco. Elsewhere, Real Madrid draw Manchester United in the ultimate clash of the titans. The world will be watching. Added incentive for Real Madrid to win as the final will be played at the Bernabeu.

Michael Owen's Half Season Update

Michael has been busy this year and unable to provide regular updates but, he would like to keep everyone up to date on how he feels the club has done through to December.

Transfers
View attachment 163060They have been good as we have strengthened places where we were weak so that makes us better than what we were which is the goal of the club. Adding good players is good although a couple of players we got are already on the transfer list which is bad, unless we make money on them in which case it isn't a bad thing.

Matches

We have done alright as we are tenth which is average and as our squad is below average according to the media so being average is good to me. Liverpool knocking us out the Capital one cup is a blow but, we have got big wins over Everton and a good three goal win over Tottenham. We have been fine but, hopefully we can improve a bit going into next year to make it memorable

THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS.

Finances will be posted a little later. As with all previous January windows in this game, there will be NO second chance window.

Any unused perks MUST be used in this window, with the exception of facilities upgrades and stadium expansions.

The window will stay open until April 3, 11 PM BST.

NEWS FROM THE BEST

It is said that the Manchester City chairman is already planning a party and celebrations for the win of Premier League (BPL). What makes it even more surprising is that only one half of the season has been played and lots of more games to play.

Manchester City has held the first position since 23. September after their winning match with Leicester. Of course the start of the season was better that last years, when MC lost 3 of the first 4 games and drew one of those. This season they drew 2 of the first four games and won the others.

After the first 4 games MC went on a game-winning run that lasted 12 games (all competitions). They lost to BMG 3-2, who ended their run. On their run the Citizens beat a giant like FC Barcelona 3-2, with goals from Otamendi, Costa and Neymar. They also beat their biggest rivals Manchester United 2-1 with goals from Otamendi and Costa. The easiest opponents this season have been West Ham and Arsenal with us winning every game we played with them.

However, with all the positives it's time to bring out the negatives. The toughest opponents have been QPR. We lost to them in Capital One Cup and drew with them in BPL. Queens Park were the ones that kicked us out of Capital One Cup. In BPL we have only lost to Everton, whose Jonas destroyed our defense.

On to the players. The best player this season has been Otamendi, who has won 206 tackles from 232. He is closely followed by the new signing Neymar, who has score 16 goals for the team, made 5.78 dribbles per game and is the top scorer so far for MC. Diego Costa has 14 goals, which means he is right behind Neymar in goals scored. But the ones who have been feeding the goalscorers are KDB with 11 assists and Andre Gomes with 7.

Transfer List

Giorgian De Arrascaeta (MC, AMC, AML, ST)- Need to bolster your team with flair, dribbling and technique, then here is your guy. He can and will make your team into and attacking force. He also has low wages - only £20k. - Transfer Fee (TF) £12.2M

Fernando
(DC, DM, MC)- Keep losing the ball? Need to win it back? Well, if that's the case then I got the man you need right here. He has made on average 6 tackles per season. He's a natural BWM. He might be on high wages - £100k - but he comes cheap - only £3.9M

Kieran Gibbs (DL, WBL, ML, AML)- Can play everywhere on the left wing. Is home-grown. Will fix your broken defense or be a great back-up on the bench. Average wage - £48.5k, TF - £7.8M

Jon Flanagan (DR, DL) - not much to say, but A Star. He will be the star of your defense. Have been letting in goals like Brighton or Leicester, then come and get your man. Wage - £25k, TF - £8.75M

Loan List

Alex Holguin (MC, AMC)- be the on that says "I had that World superstar on loan at my club". Be the one that helped develop that one great superstar. Don't be shy and loan him. Wage - £3k

Gaston Barbachan (ML, AML) - He will work and work till your team is winning and he will still be working after that. He will make your team, what it really is, a team. Wage - £3k

Olivier Ntcham (MR, MC, AMR, AMC) - Player, every team needs. Wage - £10k

Also make offer on player from youth teams, and on some from the first team

Everton Players for sale.

The following players have been made available in case any one is looking to buy:

Rene Krhin: 5M
Gerard Deulofeu: 8M
John Brooks: 5M
Juanmi: 8M
Mattia Perin: 10M
Nir Britton: 10M

Feel free to bid for any other player. Everyone has a price.

Away to Brighton and nothing much to say, we were poor very poor.

---------------
Away to Arsenal and things got worse against 10 men for 86 minutes and we did absolute,y nothing. Good job they only had 10 men, hate to think what the score would have been if they had 11.

---------------
Finish the month at home against Everton and we finally get a goal after 3 goalless games. Andrew Robertson opening the scoring before the Toffees equalise.

Arsenal Transfer List
Davy Klaassen - £15M
Top class CM/CAM. Can also play well at striker. At 24, he's in his prime, and would be a key player for any team fighting for Europe. £66K Wages.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - £35M
Fantastically talented winger. Started the season at CM, picking up 7 assists in 8 games. Has now fallen out of favour, and would be better off at a club where he can play on the wings. Would be a key player for any club in the league. HG English international.

Jetro Willems - £15M
23 year old Dutch international LB. Among the top 5-6 left backs in the league, but unfortunately behind Jose Gaya at the club. Pick him up and have a world class fullback for 10 years!

Ainsley Maitland-Niles - £12M
Hugely talented RM/RW, who is only 20. Would be perfect for a club that utilizes wingers. A HG wonderkid with lightning pace and well rounded abilities. How can you go wrong?

Alex Iwobi - £3M
Versatile youngster with good pace and technique. Pick him up, and he might have the breakthrough that he's had in real life!

Available for loan:
Marco Asensio - £30K wages
One of the top AMC talents in the world. Is loan listed to secure playing time. Extremely talented, valued at £24M. How can you say no?

If not sold, several of the transfer listed players will be available for loan, teams that buy one player will get priority on a loan over other clubs

Away to Fulham where a crazy three minutes in the second half cost us as we concede twice. Only highlight was the return of long term injured Robert Snodgrass who managed to hit a consolation goal for us on his comeback.

---------------
Away again this time to West Brom where we picked up a valuable win thanks to goals from Rudy Gestede and Chuba Akpom.

---------------
Back home to face Newcastle and a poor performance gave Newcastle an easy win. Only two players managed to get above seven in the ratings in the local paper. Just a terrible performance.

Can someone check Manchester United's balance for me? Won't be able to get on the save until later tonight, if at all, and want to know if I can get a deal or two done :)
