I don't understand. You state that the tactic isn't working for the new patch but it's working fine for me. Currently on my first season with Tottenham and I'm unbeaten in the league and I've alos only signed Lewandolski.

W14, D3, L1 here with it - only change I have made is Match Prep = Def Set Pieces
 
No defensive set pieces set up??

Hey guys, this is my first post so i wanna say hello and thanks for the great tactics etc. They are much appreciated and make the game so much more enjoyable.

I am using this particular tactic at the moment with Arsenal and have just noticed (because i was conceding goals from so many corners) that there are no individual instructions set up for defending corners?? Attacking corners yes but not defending? This tactic would really be something if the set pieces could get cracked

Thanks mate. Just finished a few testings with a new version of the tactic, 2.1, won everything with Arsenal (but very irregularly), including Champions League, and everything besides Capital One with Man City. No transfers at all. Defensive set pieces improved, and if you struggle you should try that for match preparation. Anyways, i'm not so sure about this version yet so i'm testing with Tottenham.

Looks promising pal! I'm using it with Olympique Lyonnais (fifth season). The team really seems to move "as a whole thing", which is obviously good ;)
Now I'm waiting for Aguero (yes, I've managed to sign him!) to come in January 2018, hope he'll perform well upfront :)
 
suffer many goals and not play well,
already with the "eye for eye 9.1" game well, but suffer many goals
 
Just finished with the new version of the tactic for the 14.3 patch. I'm glad i could keep with the general idea behind my tactics and had very good results, 2 defeats in all season (too bad that one was in the final) and no transfers. Juan Mata won the Ballon'Dor. Also check out the amount of goals conceded, the ones conceded from corners and the yellow cards.

I will keep working on this tactic and testing it with other teams, but it's a very promising start! Good luck, i will put the link below!

Hey, it's exactly like the OP. The tactic was from an idea that i couldn't execute like i wanted in the previous patches, and it seems to be working fine right now. Teamwork, no OI, etc, check the opening post. I do not say that you will win everything with the tactic since i only tested with Manchester United (big team), but in all season i never lost in clear cut chances. So, it's quite a solid formation. I will continue improving it if i can, feel free to ask anything, good luck!

What is more, the only natural in the midfield was Fellaini as a box to box, i used Giggs as his partner and Carrick as a destroyer of football. Valencia, Cleverley and Fletcher were their backups, i think it's a lot of room for improvement.

Also, if you use one slow central defender as Vidic, try to put it next to another one quicker and in the same side that a pacey fullback.

Going to use this - played my first 4 games with it, 4 wins with Swansea first season. Very thorough OP which for me does half the job of wanting to try the tactic - great job.

I really like formation...on the paper narrow 4-1-2-1-2, but on the pitch beloved 4-3-3.

Really nice set up.

Yes mate! It's rigid but the individual instructions make the team very fluid. What is more, you have a lot of freedom on choosing the players, hope you find it good. Cheers!
