That doesn't remove the fact that Liverpool is full of CRAPPY **** players with no to passion to play anymore. Gerrard, Carra, Reina and Torres is all you got... and the first 2 are getting old and last 2 probly wants to leave.
Reina already said he wants to stay sooo?

Besides, we shouldn't be a selling club under the new owners, good luck to someone buying one of the best keepers whose not long signed a 6 year contract.

Though I agree about the others having no passion, hopefully Dalglish will change that.

i really hope you go down now, Hodgson's a quality manager and he would of sorted it out after a season, so yeah championship for liverpool please

If Hodgson is a quality manager then why did he make Liverpool worse?

Just cos they gonna get a new manager doesnt mean they are gonna do better in some respects

The players play on the pitch, not the manager

They really need some tranfers...recent transfers have been avarge players...and roys signings of Konchesky and Poulsen aren't helping. It was good to sack him for that. I wonder if those 2 are going to play now with Kenny taking the role as manager.
actually they have some good players and some dross, agger johnson skrtel merieles all good players. Amazing how many people want to stick the knife in without quite knowing all thefacts

Lol if Liverpool go down this season, that would actually be shocking. Shouldn't happen though... (might put a cheeky fiver on it though :P)

Meh, he was fighting a losing battle to begin with, never really had the support united behind him did he ? I actually thought pre-season they were gonna be back up challenging for the league title, they done some great summer buisness imo, just hasn't worked out for him.

Hodgson for West Ham ?

TBF mate Roy is a quality manager and he has proven it ;), Managers do have a bad time, Obviously the players at liverpool didn't respect him enough or want to play or have the ability to play the way Roy wanted them. Who knows maybe Roy made mistakes. Mistakes happen in life and I'm sure in his next job he will show how good he really is as a manager! I prefer him at smaller teams and don't think he should have left Fulham but you wouldn't turn down liverpool.

Good luck to Roy Hodgson in the future. It was only a matter of time before he left though.

The only thing he's proven is that he's a quality manager at mid table clubs (inter aside, though that was so long ago and they weren't the same club they are now). All he's "proven" is he is unable to step up to a bigger team.

From every press conferance to his transfers to his tactics, he has mid table written all over him.

The fans backed him but everyone knew he was the wrong appointment. Great summer business? Sold Mascherano, brought in Poulsen? Let Insua and Aquilani go out on loan, bought Konchesky and Meireles only to play on the wing?

Well, i agree with Agger and Meireles, skirtel has passion maybe but he isn't that good... and johnson shouldn't be englands right back. He simply cannot defend! But yeh.. meireles was a good buy and he is good. And agger is too.

I dont wanna stick the knife...i just dont think Daglish is going to get things any better...well time will tell. You guys need Hyypia back! he was amazing...

The problem is that Liverpool have replaced your good players like hyypia, alonso, mascherano with avarge players. That doesn't even have the potential to step in their shoes.

Hodgson didn't sign jovanovic.. he had already signed a pre-contract towards the end of last season when benitez was still in charge.. remember?

Roy Hodgson is not a quality manager. He has won honours in Scandanavia, whoop de ******* doo.

well really hope Kenny can lead the team tomorrow with passion and togetherness. Cuz with that, we can emulate the 2008/2009 result which until now i can't believe Dossena can score. well, i thought tomorrow meeting should be in quarter or semi finals.

p/s ; BRAVO Leeds. FA Cup still got its romance. unlucky to draw .

BIELSA TO LIVERPOOL, PLEASE!!!! It would be a risky move, but hey, I dont remember Bielsa doing a bad campaign (clubwise) since he managed Newell´s. In 2002 with Argie, I guess it was bad luck too. The team was playing superb until the WC.

Are they that good? Don't rely on FM...

Except for Meireles, don´t seem to have track records suggesting they're anything above average players...

Well what would you say is greater, Achieving great things that no manager has done with smaller clubs or bigger clubs ? Its like the next man to go to Man Utd, He doesn't have that hard a job to get them trophys. Liverpool where always on the downfall for a few seasons and thats a fact.

However he may only be proven a mid table teams but its greater achievements such as

1. Taking thw Swiss side to the last 16 of the world cup
2. Guiding Finland to 33rd in FIFA Rankings.
3. Hodgson took over iInter when the were finish 13th and 6th prior to seasons before.doesn't sound all that great to me. He finished 7th first season and left them when they were 3rd second and that team where taken to become Uefa cup winners.
4. He then guided Blackburn to 6th in the EPL
5. He then took 6-7th place seasons prior Copenhagen to win the title first since 1993.
6. He then failed at Udinese regretting taking the post.
7. And everyone knows what he done at Fulham

INformation from Wiki and not from me. So not taking credit or anything.

Yes he may have too mid table or small clubs but he done remarkable things with those clubs. Sometimes he failed but thats football only the true greats can do anything with anyteam and even then some fail at times. Roy is a great manager. Just not for Liverpool.

That doesnt mean anything everyone has bad spell and he wans't exactly gifted with the best squad and board when he came in... Im a arsenal suppoorter but even wnger hasnt won nuffin in 6 years almost but we love him and the board backs him!

As I say mate, only my opinion, you got good money for Mascherano, though admittedly his replacement could've been better, and yes Konchesky is diabolical tbf :)
