you might as well bring roy back. O'Neill is over rated

Over rated is taking it a bit far. Hes a great manager but i doubt Liverpool would be looking for a long ball type manager it would be back to square one. He's younger though so maybe he could change?

I think I agree with you here, mostly. Our form since has shown just what a good manager O'Neill is, but he wouldn't suit Liverpool in any way, shape or form.

maybe a little harsh on him, but still he isnt the right man by liverpool by any means

Without a doubt.

Wonder if Kenny will do the sensible thing and go back to a 4-2-3-1 or stick with a 4-4-2? Hope it's the former...

he'll almost certainly play an aggressive attacking 4-2-3-1

Cannot express how I felt when my mate told me today, absolutely ******* delighted. Dalglish coming in until the end of the season, amazing. Should put up a decent fight to United and get a result out of Everton now :)

Surely Dalglish won't play a 4-4-2, knowing that it was one of the main reasons Hodgson left Liverpool. Well, that, and the constant desire to play central midfielders on the wing...

Dalglish isn't an idiot, Hodgson is.

Why is everyone slating Kenny Dalglish? Hes not been brought in on a permenant basis, hes here until the summer when a permenant manager is found. Worth noting he has the highest win % of any liverpool manager.

Typical rival fans mate. The majority wanted Woy to stay and do a Souness..

Quite surprised to hear this when I woke up, was shaping up like Roy would play United and then be leaving. The match will be more difficult with Kenny in charge, heh.

Buying a ball winning midfielder for 13 million and then playing him on the wing is idiotic imo ;)

claiming Mereiles is a ball winning midfielder is idiotic imo ;)

Just received texts from friends who are pool fans and they are all convinced that they are going to beat United tomorrow XD
It's very good news for Liverpool fans out there because the club deserves a decent manager.. But lets not get carried away just yet ;)

I feel like this was the right decision, but it could be a lose-lose situation. If kenny does badly, he'll ruin his rep. If he does well, the fans will want him permanently when we need a much younger manager for the longterm. That said, the saddest thing is that the fa cup game is at old trafford. Imagine the atmosphere at anfield, I think that alone would have been enough to get the win. Hopefully the players (especially gerrard who knows the club) will turn up and play on sunday.

Clubs and fans need to start blaiming the players, not the manager. I'm not saying that managers don't deserve any of the blame, but too much of it is placed on the shoulders of the manager. It's the players that are underperforming.

But it's the managers job to get them to perform...

That doesn't remove the fact that Liverpool is full of CRAPPY **** players with no to passion to play anymore. Gerrard, Carra, Reina and Torres is all you got... and the first 2 are getting old and last 2 probly wants to leave.

They really need some tranfers...recent transfers have been avarge players...and roys signings of Konchesky and Poulsen aren't helping. It was good to sack him for that. I wonder if those 2 are going to play now with Kenny taking the role as manager.
