We're goin' back to Wembley!

We've done it! We've done it! After losing the first leg 3-2 at home to Blackburn, we took the game to Blackburn and came out 2-0 winners!
The first half I wasn't happy with, I took off Alex Ortiz as he didn't please me at all, so I then put on the experienced Clarke Carlisle, 2 minutes in, then 9 minutes in, I took Clarke off because he didn't please me either, then Ariballa went into centre back to keep up with the pace of Kelvin Etuhu.
We're going back to Wembley! What a great moment for this club to get to the final! No matter what happens in the final we need to enjoy the game.
It's going to be tough, but not many games get harder than Blackburn.

We fought hard​

Well, not the way we wanted the season to end after what was a brilliant season but we need to bounce back from this and prove that we can get into the Premiership. Everything looked great for us but when we went 3 -2 down in Extra Time, I decided to go more attacking which cost us in the end. The less said about the game, the better, but credit to the lads for an outstanding season.​

August - From Shocking To Good!​

Stockport 0 - 2 Scunthorpe (Gallagher 2)​

Not the way I wanted the season to go as promotion contenders, but we did seem to control the game but we lacked the cutting edge infront of goal, it's only the first game of the season so hopefully we can turn this poor result around.​

(Didn't control this game)​

I don't know what Nicky **** said to the lads or what happened out there because that was atrocious, losing 4 - 1, we want to be a Premiership side and we NEED to perform much better.​



Swansea (Oldoni) 1 - 0 Stockport​

Another loss, not how I wanted this season to be started but still, theres a long way to go.​



Stockport (Dalla Valle,Power,Galvao) 3 - 0 Southend

That's more like it, we took our chances and was very clinical, at the back we was rock solid and we thoroughly deserved this win, hopefully we can keep these results going and start climbing up the table and put the past bad performances behind us and start playing how Stockport County were born to play.

Nott'm Forest 0 - 0 Stockport

If you asked me before the game if I would have taken a point from this game, I would have definatley taking it, Forest are a great side and a point is a good result. Both teams had chances but we couldn't put then away, a fair result overall.

Stockport (Power,Timisela) 2 - 1 Palace (McGurk)

A solid result against a good side, we deserved the win, and are now unbeaten in 3 games and we need to keep this going to show that we mean business and get into them play-offs.

Well what a great start to the season we've had, the lads have really gelled together and got some great results, we look very dangerous all over the pitch and the table doesn't lie, this is definatley the best we've played since I've been here and we don't look like losing. Our signings have been brilliant and they've all contributed in what has been a magnificent start to the seaosn and if we keep playing like this, premiership is almost a certainty. At the back, Kevin Long and Big Wes Morgan have both been immense and that is part of the reason we are doing so well, in midfield, we have one of the best midfield in the League with Steve Irwin, Conor Okus, John Bostock, David Martin, Zoltan Gera and Jason Puncheon which have all but nudged Stephen Gleeson and Julio Arca out of the side. Hopefully we can keep this brilliant run going.

this is going pretty well for you sam :) havent checked up on the forum recently but its good to see you're doing well, push for the Prem this year mate ;D

Right I am very ****** off!!
I saved the game before the last games of the season, and I beat Leeds and Newcastle, Got PROMOTED, then I accidently deleted the current save game and now I'm back in championship!

So seems though I'm so ****** off, all your getting is an end of season update!
