Thanks, Zyndar. I haven't played TOO many games with Samurai elite yet, but things seem to be going quite well with my Wigan save. Prior to starting this tactic, I won the Championship in my second season playing my own mix of 4-2-3-1 (with DMs and 3 CMs) and 4-1-4-1. But that required me to basically watch every game and continually make tweaks. It was exhausting! I wanted something a bit more solid for extended highlights. I like Pep's 4-1-4-1 and this seems like a pretty good implementation.
One thing: I have had what seems to me an unacceptable level of red cards with this tactic. How essential is "get stuck in" to the tactic in your view?
Also, out of curiosity, what is your process for constructing a tactic? It seems like mark tighter, tackle harder, and close down more are parts of most of your player instructions. Is that just a way of saying to the players "work harder!"? Or is there more to it?
Thanks again!
