San Marino again put their fans through agony, playing with fire, and letting Albinoleffe attack them for the entire match, but it was San Marino who managed to hang onto a fine lead, to qualify for the next round of the cup.

Italian Cup 1st Round Draw

Mr Drezzy was delighted today as San Marino were drawn against Steve McClarens Fiorentina.
Mr Drezzy said he would happily bring his team to Florence, and dominate them, and knock them out of the cup. He was looking forward to humiliating Steve McClaren

Serie B: Matchday 18

Sorrento 2 - 2 San Marino
From Italia, Sorrento, Att:-1775
Vunguidica(26), Giacomini (90))
Mitogo (21), Armiche (47))
sorrento%20stadio.jpg

Mr Drezzy was fuming, his side had two goals ruled out ofr offside, which clearly were on side. San Marino were leading 2-1 going into stoppage time, then Sorrento scored a goal which was clearly offside. Poor refereeing cost San Marino 3 points today

FMF if that's correct. New update on mine Champions League groups. Hope you beat Fiorentina!

Serie B: Matchday 19

San Marino 3 - 1 Atalanta
From Olimpico, Serravalle, Att:-4241
Mitogo (49, 73), Tiboni (53)
Bellini (25)

This time last year, San Marino were in Serie C, battling for promotion, whilst Atalanta were in the world renowned Serie A, battling relegation.
This match was Touted as a footballing lesson for San Marino, and in the first half, Atalanta showed them how to play, going into the half time break 1-0 up.
But it was San Marino who done some teaching of their own, showing Atalanta that when they wanted to, San Marino could play great football, and they did, Stunning Atalanta by scoring 3 lovely team goals. San Marino's brilliant second half performance earned them the win, keeping them 2 points ahead of Siena

Serie B: Matchday 20

Vicenza 2 - 2 San Marino
From IMenti, Vicenza, Att:-5562
Greco (17), Misuraca (74))
Armiche (46), Giani (OG 81))
vicenza_menti1.jpg

Vicenza and San Marino were well matched today, but it was Vicenza who got the opening goal with a superb finish from Greco.
1-0 up at half time, Vicenza attacked from the start of the second half, but got hit on the counter attack, with San Marino scoring on 46 minutes.
Then Misuraca broke San Marino hearts with a placed shot, which ended up in the net. San Marino were lost and needed help from Vicenza to score again, Giani bundling the ball into his own net.
The game finished 2-2, which was a fair result

Some good games there mate. Atlanta must be favourites to go up surely? Good game there anyway. San Marino V Inter next year?

San Marino not to renew contracts?

PremierLeagueFootballLeagueContract-BrendaSpencer-Wigan-10.09.93-L.jpg

It has emerged today that some San Marino players will not have their contracts renewed and will be available on free transfers at the end of the season. There is no word on who exactly will be let go, but a couple of names popping up are that of Norman Sylla and Alain N'Kong, who have helped San Marino reach the dizzy heights of Serie B

Yeah, Atalanta were predicted 1st place, but to be honest, they've been abit **** this season, alot like Reggina last season in Serie C1/B

Serie B: Matchday 21

San Marino 5 - 3 Cesena
From Olimpico, Serravalle, Att:-4500
Bernacci (42), Fedi (47), Foti (52), Tiboni (73, 77)
Menseguez (18), Tonucci (49), Ayasse (71)

What a game at the sold out Olimpico today, as san marino outclassed Cesena. It was Cesena who opened the scoring, but Bernacci managed to bring the game level on 42 minutes.
After the break, Fedi headed home to give San Marino the lead but it didnt last long because two minutes later, Cesena had equalised. It was back and forth stuff, with Foti getting in on the act to give San Marino a 3-2 lead. The game died down for a little but Cesena got them selves back in the game, Ayasse levelled the score, 3-3.
But Mutu had other ideas, playing two crucial through balls to set up Tiboni, who netted both times to give San Marino a fantastic 5-3 win

Lol Poor players. Your mean!! Lol update on mine pal.

haha yea, i doubt Atalanta will be going up this season.....But hey, Reggina look like they'll be in Serie B next season

McClaren: So this is it!

mclaren-415x275.jpg

Steve McClaren has said he was looking forward to derailing San Marino's season, when the two teams meet in the Italian cup on the weekend.
The said he cannot wait to shut up San Marino manager, Mr Drezzy, saying that the cup game would end the war between the two, and that he will be victorious.

Mr Drezzy: This is only the start, you ginger ****!

steve-mcclaren.jpg

Mr Drezzy has hit out at Steve McClaren, saying that the first meeting between the two was only just the beginning, and win or lose, Mr Drezzy would make McClaren look like a fool

Italian Cup 1st Round

Fiorentina 2 - 4 San Marino
From Artemio Franchi, Att:-31313
Babacar (23, 81)
Camporese (OG 21), Troiano (37), Tiboni (53, 64)
steve-mcclaren_1819786i.jpg

Fiorentina were guilty of under estimating San Marino. They lacked conviction, and thought they would steam roll the Minnows from San Marino. But San Marino shocked every one when they took the lead, after Camporese headed into his own net. But two minutes later, Babacar equalised, but that didn't help Fiorentina, they believed San Marino were lucky to have scored and continued to gloat and try tricks. But on 37 minutes, Troiano slotted the ball home to again shock the hosts. After the break, Fiorentina thought they would easily get back into it but Tibni had other ideas, scoring two on the break to give San Marino a shocking 4-1 lead. Mr Drezzy was jumping around like a mad man as Steve McClaren looked on in shock. Babcar pulled one back for the home side, but it was too late, San Marino have shocked Serie A side Fiorentina, 4-2. San Marino progress
