Espanyol is the new Genoa?

The rumours became reality. The FA faxed the papers back, so now there some official transfer news!

View attachment 308514

Sevilla had the first deal, but it's possible that this transfer will be the most complex at this summer! After a long negotiation Malaga's and Espanyol's chairmans have reached an agreement. Lochrie contacted Borai about selling Forlin for the UCL side team. At first it seemed it'll be a detour, but each side have put something unique idea after each counter offer. Forlin left the club for the price of 8M £ wich will be payed in two installments. There will be a 4M £ package in the first summer and another one in the next one. Espanyol will get an extra 1M £ if Forlin will make his debut in the national team during the stay at Malaga. Another 1M £ will be payed if Forlin could make 5 appearances during his career under Lochrie. In the part of the deal there is a loan from Malaga to Espanyol. Weligton will spend a year at Los Periquitos and his wage will be payed by Malaga.

Shortly after Borai could make a great loan deal with Gutteridge, the head of the champion team. Kiko Femenia will be loaned out to Espanyol for the whole season.

Borai felt that he should be balance the high number of Catalan players, so he contacted Munez, the chief of Real Madrid, to loan some of the Castilla's players. Tomas Mejias and Ivan Gonzalzo will spend a year at Estadi Cornella-El Prat.

After Borai made some comment on McGeady's transfer movements, the two party felt they should discuss personally discuss the problem. The meeting went so well that they could leave the tables with some new players. First McGeady made an enquiry about Jordi Amat where Borai could express his intrest in Coke's joining to his side. They agreed in a simple swap between the clubs. Espanyol's first own singing is Coke from Sevilla. He signed his 5 years long contract which will grant him a 20k £ on a weekly base. McGeady was so happy at the deal that he generously agreed upon two loan outs too. Baba and Kondogbia will stay for a year at Espanyol, but the striker's wage will be paid by the Catalan club and the French midfielder's payroll will be handled by McGeady's team. Baba could only sent back by Borai, but Kondogbia could be recalled by Sevilla at January.

Finally we see Pizzi leave the club on loan to a division rival. Unfortuantly due to paperwork that has yet to go through we cannot announce which club he will be joining however the club will play £10k of his wages p/w and it will also involve a £20k per month fee.

Walker added "I am working hard to add more players to the squad, I am sure that I will get these players in due course. Of course more players will leave the club aswell."
When pushed to answer on the future of Falcao he had this to say. "We have been subject to two bids for Falcao both of which we have tried to negotiate and these have so far fallen short. If he is to leave the club it will only be for a fee of £45m or the eqivallent with cash and players."

All Change in Malaga

After buying out former Arab owners new owner Scott Lochrie has been quiet and hasnt spoken too the media. During this media blackout from within Malaga it came too the notice of the media that the new regime have been busy bringing in new players too freshen up the squad in an attempt too chase another top 4 finish as long with competing in this current seasons champions league. Current new additions too the squad include a deal too bring Koke and Cabrera in from Athletico Madrid on a deal worth £5m that could rise too £6m. Next on Los Boquerones shopping list was Espanyol's CB Juan Forlin who cost £8m that will be paid in installments over the next 2 years but again may rise too £10m. Finally Malaga signed two youngsters from Rayo in Leo and Lass Bangoura for £4.5m.
Current outgoings from the squad are Weligton (Espanyol) and Duda (Rayo) both on loan deals for the season. Asked if any further players could be looking at leaving in this current window Mr Lochrie replied with, 'Yes after bringing in so many players we are looking too sell, all of our current players are available for the right price if enough interest is in them'.

Granada CF have today confirmed the appointment of Johan Cruyff has the club's new manager. Cruyff, 65, is one of the most respected footballing luminaries in the history of the sport and the announcement that he has returned to management will certainly excite the spanish footballing community. After a fabulous playing career, Johan became the manager of Dutch giants Ajax in 1985 and during a three year spell helped the team to the 1987 European Cup.
In 1988 the dutch master left to manage Barcelona, and famously established the brilliant youth policy at the club as well as forming the 'golden team'which contained the likes of Pep Guardiola, José Mari Bakero, Txiki Begiristain, Ion Andoni Goikoetxea, Ronald Koeman, Michael Laudrup, Romário, Gheorghe Hagi, and Hristo Stoichkov.
Winning 11 trophies in 8 years made Cruyff the club's most successful manager at that time (Though he has since been beaten by Pep Guardiola).

This coup for chairman Leonardo Di Caprio will surely grab the media's attention in the coming seasons. When asked to comment, the film star asked 'Who?' however, the pint glass in his hand may have been the pointer to his stupid answer.

Sheik Bin dere dun dat has been announced as the new owner of Real Betis Balompe. Dat, who (naturally) has close ties with the owners of Manchester City, is said to be estactic at his new challenge.
"I will crush Barcelona and Madrid, CRUSH them!" he said in an interview with the Daily Mail, cackling evilly. Dat made his fortune with Funk4You.com, and has since opened up Funk2Go.com and FreeFunkMania.co.uk. He has issued a hands offf warning for young star Alvaro Vadillo, saying he will 'make sure Alvaro becomes a Betis legend'. In a controversial move he has said Pepe Mel's job is 'under review.'

Every player has his price, apart from Vadillo.

Levante Announce new Deals and Transfer List

New deals have been made at Levante to accompany Jose Campana (recent loan from Sevilla) to the club. After much speculation the deals have been announced. Jese from Castilla has joined the club on a season long loan. Jese is a fairly ambitious player who was brought in to fill a void from the next confirmed deal.

View attachment 309588
Jese pleased to be here

The void is left from Javier Barkero. Barkero has left to Athletic Bilbao from a swap deal. The chairman of Bilbao, José Olazábal contacted Estrada about Barkero but Estrada turned down the deal at first. After unknown reasons were given for the wanted man Estrada decided to accept but, with a twist. Needing a Centre back Estrada made a swap for Mikel San Jose a strong defender at Bilbao. It is thought there was a little added from the Levante side to gain their man. Bilbao also made a move for Levente B, Ander Olaizola. So two in two out for Levante.

New transfer list released by Estrada:
- Angel
- Christian Lell
- Obafemi Martins
- Loukas Vyntra
- Hector Rodas
Are all available for loan or transfer. Transfers will be deals for you, I don't want these players so I will go cheap to get rid of them.

On the manager side of news Juan Ignacio hasn't been sacked yet so it looks like Estrada wants to give him a try out.
