CM - Papadopaulous[BWM], Fellaini, Cleverley, Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs [Powell out on loan]
AMR - Valencia, Lamela, Zaha [Sold Nani at the start of the second season, to Chelsea, and bought in Erik Lamela]
AML - Draxler, Kagawa [thinking of bringing in Schurrle, who is transfer listed by Chelsea at 14 Million]
AMC - Rooney, Januzaj [Meyer out on loan]
ST - van Persie, Hernandez, Welbeck, Timo Werner [out on loan], Zivkovic

I generally play a 4-2-3-1, with 2 CB on defend, The full backs on automatic, 2 CM - 1 as a BWM on defend, and one as a CM on support, 2 wingers on attack, AMC on support and Strikers on attack..

Hasn't failed me much so far.. =p

I know there is only one change there but I have signed Lucas Romero, Vela as cover. I also added alot of backroom staff.
This season will be used as a trial and to see positions I need.
Can anyone tell me if Mitrovic, Benteke, Timo Werner, Volland or Leandro Damaio are worth the punt and if so who is best??

My Newcastle Team that I won the first season with.

Used a 4-2-3-1 compact formation with offensive mentality and freedoom - balanced

The best player that year was Davide Santon and tim krul had the most clean sheets.

Short term: Benteke
Long term: Werner in my opinion, Mitrovic a good #2.

Holtby/Ozil/Mkhitaryan is massive overkill to when they're essentially the same players just at different levels.

He was unhappy and transfer listed, was undecided on paying the near ?50m that Arsenal wanted so attempted a loan offer and it payed off.

Agree re: Holtby/Ozil/Mkhitaryan but don't forget Ozil is only on loan for 1 season and I also use Holtby as cover for Scmelzer (WBL), or Reus (STCL).

Weak strike force I know. Got Gabriel Barbosa joining for ?13m in Jan. Will sell Osvaldo, guy has gone to s**t for some reason.
Squad just needs to stay together for a couple of years and it'll be formidable. Busby is a regen in case you were wondering.
