How did Q.P.R get relegated to League One? By the way mate your doing brill

Haha, no idea mate. Think they were relegated on the last day.

Also, anyone got any feedback for me? Any changes you'd like to see?

I've a suggestion - perhaps a couple of quick fire updates with results and a small piece of analysis of the periods as a whole to move the story along at a brisk pace as it seems you've all but wrapped up the league. Saying that, I wouldn't mind a longer update in relation to the Arsenal cup game. Just an idea mate.

Out to The ****

The tension was getting to me. Only a few hours until kick off in the biggest game of my life. All I could do was set the right team out and motivate the lads enough to go and do the job; then, it was all up to them.

We've got our strongest team out today. For sure. Everyone is fit and raring to go and the only real first team player sitting out is James Tomkins, but that's because Spence has been in the form of his life.

The scene is set. The Emirates. Arsenal vs St. George FC for a place in the League Cup Semi Final and one step closer to a real piece of silverware. I knew they'd underestimate us, but the team they'd put out was definately beatable.

We started the match well with crosses flying in from Henderson and Cleverley, but we were soon overloaded by the pure talent of Arsenal. It was their reserves, mainly, but Andrey Arshavin, Cesc Fabregas and more were still in show, and they were ridiculously good to watch.

As I said to the lads, all we need to do is be defensively solid and not concede, particularly in the first half. And they did the job well. 45 minutes in and it was 0-0, with neither team getting many chances.

I sent the team out, encouraged, and they put in yet another solid shift for 45 minutes. The final score after 90 minutes was 0-0. I was delighted with that, but I had a bad feeling.

Extra time seeped on and eventually the long, hard 120 minutes came to an end. We were at the Emirates, and we were taking these penalties for a place in the League Cup Semi Final.

Some of Arsenal's best had gone off, and that gave us a huge advantage. Diego Godin was the first to step up for them, and Alex Smithies, reknowned for his penalty stopping, saved it. Then Captain Fantastic Mr. Rodwell slotted his penalty to make it 0-1 to us.

Emmanuel Eboue and Ryan Bertrand scored their penaltiies to make it 1-2 after the second round of penalties. Then Carlos Vela stepped up and made it 2-2, and Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni made it 2-3. We were in a great postion. Or were we?

Rhys Murphy then stepped up for Arsenal. It was a crucial penalty. He faked left, once, twice! Alex Smithies went the right way, but was he going to get there?

YES! Alex Smithies gets to the penalty and puts Jordan "****" Spence (so called after falling on his behind in training) in a position to win it for us. He stepped up cooly and slotted the penalty, top right hand corner. We were through.

The win against The Gunners still hadn't sunk in, and a large part of winning that one was down to ex-Arsenal Assistant Manager, Joss Bennett. He had given me in-depth analysis of each player and the style, tactics and team that Wenger was likely to use. It worked a treat.

The rest of the month flew by in a blur as we went undefeated for the month and the only match we dropped points was a tired XI drawing against a tricky Crystal Palace side.

Nile Ranger had really hit a good patch of form and he claimed by Player of the Month Award for December. It was the later part of the month that really saw Nile excel and he went on to get five goals in the month.

I often look at stories to get some ideas of players to sign, but this story is the first, infact its the first topic at all I have commented on. It deserves a comment, its a superb story, well thought, well written and it really is more of a STORY than just a career.
Well done, keep it up. Brilliant!

you said arsenal was semi final. Was confused when u only played 1 match. Brilliant story.

I said we were playing for a place in the Semi.

And thanks.

But you later said "taking penalties for a place in the final".

Well done anyway, great result.

New St. George's assistant manager Joss Bennett took some time to speak to the Press from several top broadsheets and tabloids, including sports journalist of the year, Paul Hayward from the Guardian, and ex - Gunners striker Ian Wright from The Sun. The DragonSlayers.com chose the following two questions to publish on its new website

Press Officer: Good morning gentlemen, we politely request that this press conference be used to talk about the Arsenal game only and for people not to drift off subject onto internal matters, thankyou.

Ian Wright:Hiya Joss, it must be great to be in the semis, and i know i have mixed feelings about this, as an Englishman, and an Arsenal supporter! It's great to see this club do so well, but i'm gutted that Arsenal have been knocked out, how do you feel?

Joss Bennett: Ha, good question! No, i'm absolutely delighted that we have the chance to play in a major semi-final, and it was a brilliant occasion for those lads to be playing as first team players against a club like Arsenal. I have spoken to Wenger, and, as usual, he's not too down about it, he has praised both sets of players, for playing so well for so long, but it gives him the chance to focus elsewhere, and said it was a very good test for two young teams to play each other at a competitive level. So in answer to your question, although i am still a fan of Arsenal Football Club, my full commitment lies with St. George's at the moment so i am very pleased to be in the semis at the expense of such a big club.

Paul Hayward, The Guardian: Mr. Bennett, Alex Smithies saved two penalties today, and it doesn't look like his form is going to drop any time soon, how do you think he fared against quite a strong Arsenal side last night?

Joss Bennett:Alex [Smithies] did very well, he is so determined to keep his place in the starting XI, having pinched it off Scotty [Scott Loach] midway through last season. He's still very young, and yet to enter his prime, so to be able to withstand that kind of pressure, for 120 minutes is outstanding for such a young lad, and he was able to maintain his high confidence levels during the shoot out and guessed right on two occasions, it's becoming a bit of a habit [Alex Smithie's penalty saving] We're really so happy to have such a superb player in our ranks and he's going to be a very good player [for England] one day.

Im new on this website just spent the best part of an hour reading through this. The story is the reason i made an account.

Problem with FM on my laptop means it's ******** everything up. It means the update will be later on in the day today. Probably evening.
