The 100% run was never on this term. We weren't good enough out of the box and the squad took more of a hit than i thought. We went longer than normal unbeaten but once we lost to Livi we never played well in the SPL


Celtic & Rangers were the best of the rest with Celtic especially looking much improved in spells, then ****** awful in others. Ross County's return to the SPL only lasted 1 disappointing season

Promotion is always the aim going into a season and we did it but im not sure how far this squad can go. We just won the league and really relied on Bishop's goals

Lots of changes after a summer of exodus. Blaha is a big risk at Righback to replace Carrera, Marques is much less of a risk at Centerback as he's a ready made for the position. Midfield see's Svoboda finally get his chance after 3 years at Hearts on loan he comes in for Herder while on the wings i finally decide to drop Sneddon and put Novosel in to play off McCulloch. This will hopefully see Parker get games along with the other young Scots.

Joey Herder was the 1st player to be past his 21st Birthday I've signed with the thoughts of developing into a 1st team player. The Dutchmen quickly slotted in with injury's. His value rocketed quickly through the roof and now was the time to sell with younger players coming through

Its a system thats worked for as long as i can remember. Pack the reserve and youth teams with players who through scouting and looking at yourself look like they have potential.

Once in the youth team give them some 1st team games and watch how they all progress. Usually the players will spend a season or so out on loan to see how good they really are unless big teams come bidding then i know im onto something special and if i develop them these big teams will keep coming back but offering more cash. Hardest part is timing. Keep a player too long and his moment may pass but more important you'll stop the next player coming through and developing. But sell him too soon and it may be too early for a player.

After selling Pierce in 2027 i discovered he was only 4 games short of hitting his 500th and i felt bad for him so after spend the summer and autumn months on the freebie list I've brought him back so he can reach his 500th Aberdeen game.

With time running out with my time on FM13 and with 7 day weeks at work amongst other things is giving me such little time to play the game that im going to make some changes to how im playing and my monthly updates which will see slightly less text and content and the end of season reviews will be greatly slimmed down to enable me to go as far into the game as possible.


1st the Hero Dynasty is going down the toilet. There's no way I'd manage them all so im totally giving up that immediately and retired Soldan & Juste and will remove all non playable leagues at the end of the season of course.


My first update will be up soon basically im just going to take a picture of our monthly results rather than write the result and scorers and maybe have a longer write up about the month rather than including ever scorer from each game.


All these changes should see me get through the save 3/4 times faster than I've been going at the moment. I'd like to go as far as i can before all the new games come out in late September and I'll effectively finish up with FM and the save at that point as I've mentioned in the past.
