Final team talk
"Me may have lost a key midfielder in Essomba but i expected better from you this season. Going out in the Quarter Finals in the Champions League is bellow what were used to. The SPL too was a let down with 3 defeats equaling our worst in 10 years."
SPL

The 100% run was never on this term. We weren't good enough out of the box and the squad took more of a hit than i thought. We went longer than normal unbeaten but once we lost to Livi we never played well in the SPL
Celtic & Rangers were the best of the rest with Celtic especially looking much improved in spells, then ****** awful in others. Ross County's return to the SPL only lasted 1 disappointing season
Scottish Cup Final
Stirling 0-9 Aberdeen

Dons Finances - June 1st 2031
Income
Match day income = £10.4m +£700k
All Tickets = £58.2 +£4.3m
Players Out = £92m +£25m
Sponsorship = £17.7m +£1.1m
Total = £251.2m +£31.2m
Brilliant our profits are up and without transfers were up £6m
Expenditure
Player Wages = £24.2m - £4.9m
Total Bonuses = £14.6m - £1.6m
Staff Wages = £9.1m - £200k
*All Transfers fee's = £1.9m
Ground Maintenance = £10.8m +£3.7m
* Now includes Agent fee's
Total = £171m + £1m
Were spending less and had a summer of big sales. Repeating this will be tough
Weekly Wages Currently £485km
Wages are down but i think i made a mistake last season claiming they were £1m. Hopefully fewer contracts and more player sales will see this drop further
---Final Balance ---
Total = £183m + £51m
Wages are totally under control but can drop even further. Our improved wage structure means transfer sales were pure profit. Unfortunately tax spending and constant upgrades are holding back our profits.
Scots in Europe
Celtic - Champions League Last 16
Hearts - Europa League Quarter Finals
Rangers - Europa League Last 16, Lost to Hearts
Kilmarnock - Europa League Final Play Off
Hibs - Europa League Final Play Off
St Johnstone - Europa League Final Play Off
I would say we were the biggest disappointment with the Celtic, Hearts & Rangers all having great seasons. Sadly the other teams that went out early had Very tough draws.

League
View attachment 367783
Happy to have won the league. If im honest i thought it would be easier than this but the squad needs a lot of work to get further up the divisions
Review
Promotion is always the aim going into a season and we did it but im not sure how far this squad can go. We just won the league and really relied on Bishop's goals
Going into the summer
Aberdeen may see a busy summer of players leaving to free up room for my star U19's that are coming through
