in touchline instruction what do you use ( assertive?, calm? , agressive?,) a need yours help . when y use touchline my team suffer a gol

Bit of an off topic question, but it is this tactic that is making me ask, but is there any way at all that you avoid updating the game with any new patches that are in the pipeline? Its just that I love this tactic, and I don't get much time to play FM so I can't be arsed when a new patch comes out and always ruins everything. ...

Unfortunately not. In fact the ONLY way I know, is FM has to be running. It can be left on the start screen, then steam will pause it otherwise it's automatic :(

Im so glad you are enjoying it so much.

Usually Assertive for Concentrate
Calm for Encourage

Rarely use aggressive unless I have dropped about 3 goals.

Yeah, for a strong team such as Spurs this tactic is amazing. The only problem is it needs defensive tweaks when using with a small club against top quality opposition.

I dont have much playing time at the moment due to other life commitments though Im here on the forums.

Consider using IWB's and 2 RPM's at the moment. Maybe also add tackle harder to OI's for that game. To really disturb play.

The only way I think is keeping steam offline. Then the game won't update.

There is. I also do this. I only update to the latest patch 2-3 weeks after it comes out. Keep your steam in offline mode. Go to online mode only when you are confident.

Training

Individual Training

I train each individual by their role based on where I want them to play, and I do this on 'heavy'

I.E. Cech would be - Goalkeeper (Defend) - Heavy
Alberto Moreno - Complete Wing Back (Attack) - Heavy
Mirallas - Inside Forward (Attack) - Heavy

For the CM's and CB's train them where you think you will use them most. They aren't trained too differently so do not worry.

Question about this... just slowly learning about tactics and training

If i am incorrect please let me know

I have my defenders who are L train as Complete WB L Attack and my Defender R is CWB R Attack

Defender who are RC or LC or CL or CR are the Central Defenders cover, the Defenders who are just C training them as Ball Playing Defenders.

That part i understand, the following is the part that im confused.

You have the advance playmaker and romaning playmaker who i assume are Midfielders I guess for the midfielders it doesnt matter which midfielders play which of the 2 positions.

The Inside forwards im assuming are AM's? and the false nine is the striker?

just trying to understand the training so i know what to set my players training as?

Also roaming playmaker isnt listed in the training only advanced playmaker all duties, attack and support is

Yes a good midfielder is likely to be able to play as a roaming midfielder or as an advanced playmaker. I would recommend you train the more defence minded midfielder as the roaming playmaker and the attack minded ones as advanced playmaker.
Roaming playmaker IS listed as long as the player can play as a CM.

The inside forward is the AML/AMR the false 9 is the striker, yes.

An amazing season in the Championship. Only 3 losses and the best defence in the league (by 1 goal). This was mainly through the improved quality of the team. Just the Premier League to go. English Hero achievement complete.

Going to use this tactic but switching the False 9 to a complete forward, using Arsenal and complete forward/target man fits Giroud/Welbz a lot better prob than False 9, will report back with results after first season.
