No fireworks here really. Matt Ball equalised in the 74th minute to win us the title.

View attachment 364662

Never dreamed of being promoted in the first season! I was kind of hoping we would kind of take our time and develop a young group of players but i'll take this! Not sure how much money we'll get and what our attendances will be like but hopefully what league you're in affects regens (feel free to correct me). Also as you can see Zsolnai led the way for us.

View attachment 364660

Don't know the league well enough to know if there's any upsets in the table to be completely honest, apart from us haha. Tataanya fired their manager so maybe they weren't expected to be relegated.

View attachment 364656

Nice to see the board has the same philosophy as me and have decided to upgrade the youth facilities before the first team training facilities!

I will be doing end of season review in the next update.

Hi mate, well done on promotion, I managed Fernencvaros for ages on fm14 and one thing to consider later on is fixture congestion. Because of the winter break and the massive amount of cup games, I ended up having 5 games on consecutive days, culminating in the Europa league final! Just make sure you have a large squad and should do great, Hungary is fun to mange in

13/14 Season Review

View attachment 364598

Last seasons Division II table. Winners!

View attachment 364604

The Hungarian Division I grew in stature.

View attachment 364602

Honvéd got relegated so they can no longer be our parent club.

View attachment 364600

The fans team isn't missing anyone that I'd put in so is actually my best XI too.

View attachment 364601

Unquestionably, Zsolnai was the Fans Player of the Year.

View attachment 364599
View attachment 364605

Zsolnai was also my player of the year and here are his attributes and stats for last season.

View attachment 364603

Here's what lies in Division I for us next season.

---

In summary, I'm completely shocked. I expected us to stay in Division II for at least another year developing young players with potential but we went and won the league! Money wise we've got nothing going for us as there's no prize money in Division II so next season will be very difficult! Next seasons targets will be to improve the youth recruitment and to avoid relegation.

Stay tuned! Hope you're all enjoying it so far
:)

The one with better youth facilities. I do not know what is considered better, top or superb.

Pre-season 14/15

View attachment 364371

Not bad! Wanted Szucs to have a better pre-season but he got injured in the game in which he scored.
We sold 1800 season tickets this season, an improvement on last years 1000.

View attachment 364370View attachment 364369

We started getting affiliations, increasing our reputation and finding youth players places to go. I chose Spartak over Dynamo Kiev as normally Russian regens are better than Ukrainian and also Spartak had a few players ready to be loaned to us.

---

I was very happy with our transfer dealings this season.

View attachment 364367

£0 from Fluminense. Will probably be our first choice goalkeeper next season, very happy with this!

View attachment 364366

Free transfer. He's basically here to fill the gap left by Jack Blake's departure after finishing his loan.

View attachment 364364

Free transfer after being released by Honvéd. Will be our starting AML. Hoping a few of those 10's will turn into 11's if he gets into form.

View attachment 364363

Free transfer from Budaors. Here to fill the gap upfront after Norris goes back to Brentford his parent club.

View attachment 364362

£90k from Tatabanya. Obviously one for the future but he could sneak a few first team games in cup matches. Very happy we managed to get this guy as he's already an U19 international.

---

Outwards we have Zsolnai, the hero of last season. The reason he's gone is because he was aging and we couldn't afford his demands for a new contract so we cashed in. Forgive me guys :P

View attachment 364358

We let quite a lot of people go to save wage room and also because we actually got offers of above some players values.

---

Our targets for this season are to stay up. I think I might bomb out of the cup competitions to give us an advantage in the league.

View attachment 364254

Considering we're massive underdogs this wasn't too bad. A shock is that Novothny our wonderkid has already broken into the senior team and is developing rapidly!
No real highlight of the month this month but it's looking like we could stay up!

View attachment 364253

As there's only two relegation spots all we need is for two teams to have terrible seasons. The two teams that should be going down are Ajka and Puskás Akadémia.

---

We actually did a lot more in the transfer market during the first couple of games.

These are the outs.

View attachment 364250

In terms of ins there was nothing special, the highlight was probably Máté from Debrecen for £9.75k

Here's the rest:

Cheers!

But yeah, the winter break is ridiculously long! Hungary is treating me well so far, Eastern Europe in general is actually quite exciting and makes a good change for me as I've never managed outside Central Europe

A very good month if you ask me. The two losses against Ferencvaros were disappointing as they were close games. Also we had a draw in the bag in our second game against them thanks to rising star Novothny but then they scored in the 88th minute. Speaking of Novothny he is still developing like mad and is now officially the starting striker and he is doing well! Never dreamed he'd make such an instant impact. Also his development is pleasing considering our woeful facilities.

View attachment 364110

Novothny gets a screenshot this month for being an absolute don, basically.

View attachment 364109

We're on target to avoid relegation, we're looking class in attack, we just need to firm up the defense a bit.

---

After a string of good results, I got offered a new contract.

View attachment 363960

Not the worst month ever. Our defence did improve massively this month though which is a good sign. Novothny missed a few games for Hungary U19 games and a few rests because he was tired. We're out of the Hungarian Cup but that's probably good for us so we're fresh for the league. We're currently lying in 1st in our League Cup Group.

View attachment 363961

Lots of injuries this month. Luckily the 3 month winter break is soon and all of them will be back.

View attachment 363962

Fair to say we won't go down. It all depends where we finish now because we really need some prize money as we are making a steady loss of £50k every month...

---

Here's what the prize money looks like for all those interested.

View attachment 363839

As you can see we severely lost momentum in all competitions, mainly because of injuries but also a few poor performances. Novothny again has a quiet month but again was out on international duty this time for the U21s where he got his first two caps. Luckily it's the 3 month winter break now where all our injured players will be back and we have time to regroup. Not sure if the board will give me any money to improve the squad...

View attachment 363840

Two youth products made their debuts here and one of them (Antal) scored and gave us momentum for the last 20 mins of the game when he came off the bench. Hajdú is making some first team appearances now because of Pintérs injury and doing an OK job despite not being rated very highly by my backroom staff. Reserve centre back Saloman came off the bench to score a header from a corner which would earn us a point. Going into this game we had already won the group, hence the drastic changes and youth debuts otherwise I would've have been disappointed not to beat this Division II side.

View attachment 363841

We dropped down a bit but that was expected. Still looking like we can avoid the drop in what is actually a rather surprisingly close league (apart from the big 3: Videoton, Gaor + Debrecen).

---

For anyone who's interested here are the two youth products. (Nothing special, I know.)

Winter Break 14/15

View attachment 363708

Decided to ask the board for another parent club to improve our finances and they definitely delivered. Dynamo Kiev and Spartak Moscow are a great combination of parent clubs and we should be able to loan some good regens in 3-4 years.

---

I made two signings this window and Im delighted with both.

View attachment 363707

A solid looking playmaker that has moved straight into the first team. Who knows, maybe he'll get a call-up for the international team if he gets in-form.

View attachment 363706

Signed for free after being released by Dortmund, this guy gives us an instant boost in defence. He's a beast of a man who can win all kinds of aerial battles and he's strong too. The key point here is here's just 18!

---

Here are the friendlies. I tried getting the toughest opponents possible and we managed to play 3 teams from the top Serbian, Polish and Austrian leagues respectively. Novothny was on fire, as I hoped he would be after a long rest.

I just got a ridiculously good youth intake!!! :O:O:O

Youth Intake

View attachment 363678

I'm sure you'll agree that this is an outstanding youth intake to say the least, 10 possible first team players in a single intake!

I've screen shot all players with ATLEAST four star potential so you guys can see!

Pretty poor month if I'm honest. We dropped a lot of points in the league and that's all I care about. In attempt to not go through to the next round of the cup, we went through... The first time we ever beat Debrecen and I was playing back-ups plus two players from the recent youth intake (One of which scored). We're not in good shape for the league now as you'll see below and I'm genuinely worried we may get relegated.

View attachment 363498

Horvath and Kallái made their senior team debuts in this game at the age of 15. Neither played bad and they actually won the game! Horvath scored a debut goal and I'm sure in a few seasons he'll be a really good player. No negatives in this match at all which is very pleasing.

View attachment 363497

We're not looking good in the league and we'll have to pull ourselves together in the final 3 months, we're better than this.

Here's the articles for the youth players.

View attachment 363450

A much better month! No losses in the league mean we bounce back and get a bit safer. We win the League Cup Semi Final 2-1 on aggregate and go through to the final against Gyor (Note: this is unimportant to me as the prize money for winning is a mere £30k and we get no European qualification of any sort for winning). If you've noticed the lack of Novothny for a while, he's been injured for 5 weeks, will make a return for May though and the final.

View attachment 363449

It's looking unlikely that we'll go down now with four games left, but i'm still looking to finish strong and garner some extra prize money. We have a game against Puskás Akadémia left which could be the most important game of the season.

---

The club's estimated value at the moment is £0 so I'm not sure what's going to happen...
