Tactics & Training: The " I have a small question " thread

I am playing Lazio, (I am Milan) and because Pato is tired I will play Dzeko and Ibrahimoivc up front. In my tactic one stiker attacks while the other on supports him. Im not sure which one should do which as both are guys that would be the attacking poachers.
 
Does anyone know how to improve attributes Natural fitness, Consistency, Flair? What affects on them?

I play mixed passing since i'm attacking right off the top, with "retain possession" shout but i have difficulty scoring in this scenario. I figure playing more direct would just give possession away. Any tips would be appreciated.

Why dont you rotate them?,..or change formation to "tridente" ...pato(deep lying fwd/advance forward-support/attack)- dzeko(poacher/targetman-attack)- ibra(deep lying forward-support) (swap pos ibra & dzeko)

in your training menu,.highlight schedule,select import...

high possession but can't get score?..what formation did u use?..i'm thinking about rigid philosophy, attack, short passing slow tempo....

My team is very bad at the beginning of the season, is that bcause of many new signings (around 5-6)? Howewer, the starting eleven are all allready integrated players. .. Can someone give a hint? thx

You can imprve Natural Fitness by increasing the players Strength and Aerobic training, then allocating two or three Fitness coaches to make them have better collective fitness.

You cannot improve on Consistency I don't think. It's just being careful with the way you praise them and not make them over-confident because then they will just walk into a match and, straight off the bat, think they'll perform well and the team will win. Look at their personality, and work on how to praise and criticise them.

As for Flair, increase their Ball Control workload, and they should get better.

It's best that you put your Match Preparation to High or Very High, so that they start to gel into the tactic. Give it a run of 10-15 games so that they have had ample time to just get to grips with it. Check your tactics over time to see if they have become Accomplished or Fluid with it.

I am having a tough time with set pieces in my Liverpool save. More so defending them, especially corners. Anyone have any ideas, I had it on default and have played with it a bit but have not found anything that is clicking yet.

Make sure you have your big players with good positioning and marking, marking the tall player. Happened to me once for some reason Lucas was marking the tall player an so was Aurelio haha.

Also in match prep work on defending set pieces. Should help mate.
 
I'm having trouble importing schedules.

I know i have done everything correct because when i go to manage schedules > import the schedule is there... but when i click OK it doesn't appear under the schedules tab ..

hi guys,

ive started a game with spurs and im a few games into the season not doing to bad but my players conditioning and fittness levels are constantly low. i've tried hiring a fitness coach but it has not worked
how can i sort this out?

If you adjust the in-match strategies via 'quick tactics' or 'touchline instructions', does it automatically override all of your custom settings for your starting tactics? (ie: the parts you have ticked and adjusted manually).
Also, if you change a player's role in this way, does it have the same affect? (does it set him to the defaults for that role)

Is this the best recommended way in which to change your strategy if a match isn't going your way?

Does the number of players on a schedule have any bearing on how effective the training is?
For example - if you have a schedule set up for DM's but only one DM, is he effectively training alone? Will this be detrimental to his training?
 
I thought I had the hang of this game, I've managed to overcome the poor performances against smaller teams but I've been well and truly stumped by this last dilemma. Whenever I come up against a team that "performs well against teams with a reputation similar to ours" I just can't find a tactic or that works. It doesn't matter if I beat Manchester United at Old Trafford 5-0 and have 70% possession, if the next match is against Forest and they have the "performs well" in prematch advice my players will not get a shot on target, can't pass the ball to each other and I almost always fail to score or lose badly. Is there anything I can do as it seems it is not the other team that performs but my players that suddenly turn into donkeys?
 
I am currently playing a save with Real Madrid, and I have created a seperate training schedule for each of my players. The aim is to focus on their weaknesses, whilst still trying to improve their other stats as much as possible. In my first season I had some players improve a lot, however some did not improve as much as I would have liked.
I tried creating position specific schedules, the problem being that players playing a similar position don't necessarily have the same strenghts and weaknesses.
So to my first question, is this a decent way of going about it? It does take a long time to set up, but if it works, it should be woth it.
Second question, what do the training progress bars represent? Is it just a graphical representation of where the training focus is or is there more to it than that?

Your groundsman asks what pitch size you want at the start of each season. Don't think there's another way to choose.
 
Is there a bug in the game when u co-own a player he doesn't appear on your list of players but just magically returns in your line up when there is a game? Because thats happening to me with a player co-owned by my team (Palermo) and AC Milan and it is frustrating!
