“I can’t understand why, if we’ve got two billionaires on the board, they couldn’t just put in some money, buy three players in preparation so we’re not scrambling around at the last minute. I’m really disappointed.[/quote[
Too many things wrong there to list.
No, what you mean is YOU don't know anything about him because you know **** all about footballers outside Britain. 'Evidently he's just come to the fore in the last three years' is about as flawed a statement as you can make. For starters, he won trophies in Brazil and was well-regarded about five years ago. Secondly, coming to the fore in the last three years is hardly a bad thing, for ***** sake: the same can be said of the likes of Luka Modric and Luis Suarez. How long they've been about doesn't matter one jot.
What. The. ****. Seriously. How does this man even get a platform to air his views?
1. Arsenal bought two Frenchmen last year, one of which did well. The one that did well came from the French league, like Chu-Young. 2. Arsenal have a wonderful track record of Frenchmen coming in and doing well. 3. Arsene Wenger is one of the best in the business at recognising talent, and you reckon you know better than him?
So then Arsenal would have five defenders, three of which could reasonably expect to start, and with a promising Ignasi Miquel's progress being blocked by a stupidly expensive Gary Cahill.
You know you're going a bit loopy when you can't find Per Mertesacker.
HERP DERP MY BRAIN HAS BEEN MELTED BY THE SHEER STUPIDITY OF THIS MAN'S VIEWS
On one hand he's saying go out and buy 'superstars', on the other he's saying Arsenal don't bring through enough youngsters. Christ alive...
