Love his undoubted passion for Arsenal. But the 'blood this, blood that' ..... A very angry man indeed.
 
It was one thing when Wenger didn't have the money for transfers. He did a brilliant job keeping the club competitive all these years with limited funds.

Buw now? Give me a break, he's done some serious investment over the last 3-4 years, but nothing ever changes.

Though if you want one, doubling their normal ticket price from £15 standing/ £17 seating to £30 and £35 respectively. For another live game , this time the BBC, for them this cup rub with all the extra revenue that brings in.
 
Bujakaa is right, if you can take money from a big coorporation like the Sun, even if they are scumbags, then why not take their money?
 
Taking money from a gutter dwelling media association. (No other big organisation would of done a one off deal like that for the publicity?).

Taking the **** out of your own fans.

Completely classless way to try milk every last poisonous drop from the well. A well you've already more than taken from this Cup run and are adding with another live TV game and all the extra publicity revenue that comes along with that.

*Edit* Would Sutton of gone down that route if they'd been playing L'pool? Not that that should be an issue in not dealing with the S*n. There's a VERY fine line between making extra money and completely selling out to Evil.

Totally classless from all respects. Hope Arsenal batter them.

As an aside on Arsenal, the **** Wenger's getting the media is ridiculous again.

Yeah, he needs to go and Tuesday was highly embarrassing. But every last one of those players on the park in Munich were beyond a disgrace the way they didn't want to stand up and fight and at least keep it respectable for the second leg. We're not talking kids here. Those where all seasoned professionals.

Very similar situation going on there to what happened at Chelsea last year when they disgracefully patently stopped playing for Mourinho. Who admittedly brought a lot of it on himself with how he was with them but there's NO excuse for players not putting it in. Which is happening at Arsenal.

Looking from the outside in, not only does Wenger need to move on but most of the highly paid, highly overrated, HIGHLY underperforming senior players need to follow him and take a couple of years stepped back rebuilding properly to move forward.

Fair play to him for talking face to face to them after the **** he stirred up but Neville still comes across as very condescending even there. Fans should have their say ..... But .....

These lads just don't get it.
 
Really feel for Sutton's supporters. To have such a cloud hanging over what should be a joyous occasion, all for the sake of a few measly quid, sucks. Where as they should be bouncing in anticipation looking forward to one of the biggest days in their history, they've been left split and wholly conflicted. Just takes all the fun out of it. All down to the club doing the completely wrong thing on it's biggest day in years.

Full credit to this lad for standing up and talking impartially on the free podcast about that confliction and how it's got most everyone, a lot of Sutton supporters included, up in arms.

'Indecent Proposal' indeed. How any football 'fan' doesn't see the inherent wrong here is beyond me.

Dont buy it, dont read it. dont really give a **** who does what with it.
Wanna try and kill it go ahead,
Wanna try and tell other clubs what they should and shouldnt do with them, go ahead, some will, some wont.
Gonna change out? not really, clubs will take what they need to make money and survive.

Liverpools fan hatred burns bright as always will for it, (and rightly so) but 30 years later other fans/clubs prob share the memory, and rememberance etc but not the same passion. Some will stand, some will take the cash.
 
Might swerve this tonight. Not sure I want to spend 90 minutes or so seeing that toxic POS getting that time in publicity all over National TV.

Sutton giving an amazing account of themselves, some good chances. If it was 2-2, Arsenal couldn't complain.
