great work tbh, was struggling all season with boro in my first season until about 35 games in, swapping tactics every game because i wasnt satisfied, until i tried this. Went from 7th to second and now only 1 point away from the title with 3 games left! Best thing is were dominating games and looking like the stronger side, already been promoted so i'll get back to you how we perform in the prem, great tactic!

Just tried it in my first BPL match VS Stoke and lost 2-0 oO) Probably because the team werent familear with the tactic, and for some reason I can never beat stoke XD I had possesion and chances, but one cross in and Crouch is on the ball like a stripper on a dollar bill.. Anyways... I'll try the tactic out the season and tell you how it went ;)

Playing liverpool btw

I had to laugh ( I'll get to that in a bit).

I've been using this tactic for about a season and a half with my Fmbase (challenge) team and I've got to say its a bit good is'nt it?

I started using this tactic halfway through my first season in the Prem and it secured 4th place for me and it was not fluid.

Second season up there with the big boys all season. I was level with Man U on points for practically the last quarter until we both faltered, but in the end I managed to pull away and win the Prem by a clear 9 points.

Got to the quarters of the Champs league but lost to Barcelona. A large part down to injuries and loaning out players to keep them happy. But then managed to beat United in the F.A. Cup (every cloud and all that).

I also found Morgan Schneiderlein to be a beast and have just sold him at the age of 29 (before his price depreciates too much) hence the reason why I had to laugh when you were raving about him.

All in all a very good tactic I hope I have'nt jinxed it (usually when I comment about a tac it goes pear for me) and I have just bought in some players so I can switch between this and the mirrored version.

Thank you for all your hard work, keep it up

Looking forward to hearing about your results. These sets are rather tricky to use in the current ME as its hard to see in the flow of the game what is a tactical error ( the tactic not being really up for it or one has picked the wrong version), a player struggling because of poor man management or a ME issue

Haha, yeah, I think its just a little bit too good

I have now also beaten Stoke at home and City away (5-3) in the cup

Now 16 minutes into the league game away at Anfield, this is the score.. WTF ??
edit:ended 1-4

( never mind the name of the tactic, its the same as the normal Split451)

Great job as usual
I find the tactics of both original and efficient.

it offers the beautiful game with a good level of strength in defense and I find it interesting tactic that offers so much fun with teams "normal" (not Barcelona, Madrid, etc ...)

There is a point that bothers me though. I think the DMC Complete is very offensive. Quite often, it is up near the goal area.
For what reason and for what results you have selected this setting?

The DMC acts like a really deeplying Box2Box midfielder ( Think Yaya Toure in a Deep 4231 when he has a defensive DMC next to him). He is given a high mentality and will therefor take his "mixed setting" in run from deep more often. I use this kind of player since I want movement from both advanced and deep positions. So basiclly, he is to link up with the AML and get late into the area when the ball is in an advanced position down the right flank

Just started using your tactic. Just have a quick question. Do you ever change the tactics when trying to preserve a late one goal lead? Like moving the slider to defensive and raising time wasting? Or do you just let it be?

No, not with this tactic. If wanting to play more cautious, just remember that the Team Menatlity does not effect anything since they are all on individuall mentality settings.

Ah okay thanks. Just asking cause many times I notice when the opposition starts attacking desperately towards the end of matches that my team seems like its hanging on for dear life lol. Just wondering if there was anything I could do to prevent that.

I play with napoli, what is the best pos. in that tactic for hamsik, insigle, behrami and inler?

I started a new save with Bilbao and I'll use this tactic as the main (and only) one. It's the first time that I'll play with other user tactic, in this FM. I found it interesting and with good feedback.
I think they have a good team to play with this tactic. My starting eleven is: Iraizoz; Iraola (defend), Aurtenetxe, Ekiza and Castillo; Iturraspe/Perez, Susaeta, Herrera, Muniain, Isma (young player from the B team) and Aduriz. I think there are some places in the team that are not occupied with the best players for that role but this is only the first season. Let's see what happens.
Sure you don't bother that I inform about my progress and my thoughts about this tactic...

Thanks and so far I see that this is a good tactic (already play 3 games).

Cheers,
João

Simply amazing! I read what you put, and try to teach Cisse to put up with the ball more, and the results were amazing, Champion of League and Carling in the first year! amazing, I did not think it would work so fast the tactic after losing several games at midseason, to be left out of Uefa, all we did was talk to the players and try to encourage them and from then on WIN ALL MATCHES I had left, amazing, definitely the best tactic I've tried so today in this version of the game, we'll see how it goes next year, and see if we can beat this year! sorry for my English, I use a translator

Off topic question: Should this tactic be good to use after 3-4 seasons or will the opposition be able to reduce the effectiveness of it because they get used to the tactic etc.
