***THE BETTER HALFS TACTIC UPLOAD & DISCUSSION

La Liga differs from some other leagues in that teams’ head-to-head records are used to separate them if they are equal on points. Whichever team has the best goal difference in the two matches will be placed highest if the points are equal. If head-to-head goal difference is the same, goal difference over the entire season is used, and then goals scored.

O I thought it was like England, thanks for that. Seems fairer though.

Works perfectly with Juventus in the League, but I´m getting slaughetered in the CL.

I think that this formation does NOT bring out the best of Juventus Squad. In the league, they are good enough to win anyway, but when facing world class teams, they would benefit from using 3 Central mids since their strengths lies there

What other tactic should I use in the league then? Since this tactic doesnt benefit the team and I´m still winning, a tactic that benefits the team would be even better!? :)

I think you can still use this SPLIT Formation. But when competing with teams that are actually better than you ( if looking at all positions), then you need to make sure you use your best players, and that includes one DMC and 2 MCs

I'm thinking about buying Jovetic, where do you play him in this tactic and how well does he play?

He´s awesome! I´m playing him in the MR spot. You have to retrain him to that position! 10 assists so far :)

Gonna give this a whirl TBH and see how it fairs with a Chelsea team. Recently took them over after they were sitting in the relegation zone halfway through a season and really struggling...

Quick question: Do you do individual training per position at all?

Totally depends on the purpose of the save. When I play a career game, I put in a lot of effort into the training. Here, I like them young and able to form. I basiclly start out with training them in a "Position" role ( like Advanced FC or DMC, Winger) and when they are good enough to be in my first team squad, I train them to become a specific kind of player, like a more complete FC or a Defensive Winger

IN the end, it all has to do with their stats so there is no ground rule.

No worries. That's generally what i do also, sign them young and blend them in. However, in the past i usually leave it on the specific role they are playing in.

Try to look more in what kind of player you wnat him to be.

Example: A young and quick striker that lacks in creativity and decision. You are now using him as a poacher but in the future, you would like him to become more complete using him as a deadly Advanced FC. Here, I dont train him in "Advanced FC or even Complete FC" but instead as a Trequartista. He will then focus more on those stats he lacks :D

So if you want him a player that is "too much to the left" to be " in the middle", pull him as far to the right as possible :D

Ahh, i see what you mean. I'll give it a go and see what happens..hopefully it pans out :D

Thanks

I am shocked that all the midfielders and my FC have so many shots outside the penalty area. it is ridiculous and iam not playing well.

The shots taken from far out is a ME issue. The problem is not the longshots as such but the lack of movement around the ballholder and what options he considers/sees.

im use TBH Asyimmetric 451, my first season with west ham.
