Both spent **** loads of money to get there, both have one man supplying all the finances, a very very rich man. Both in the top 3. To be honest, some would argue currently City >Chelsea. City won the FA Cup last year, have a younger squad still blending together which Chelsea's key members are ageing.

What do Chelsea have over City at the current time? Chelsea finished 3 points ahead of City last season? Both are in the champions league, City won a cup, both have great squads and both can offer large contracts. One point JD mentioned that I agree with is the manager. AVB has said he wants to play with flair and adopt a similar approach to Barcelona, that may persuade Sanchez.
So Mr. Football genius, what do Chelsea have over City at this exact time?

They finished on the same number of points IIRC, so you could say that City had a better season than Chelsea.

Im response to your question, now that they have got into the CL, and shown they can win a trophy, there isnt really too much between the sides, although Chelsea have the upper hand clearly when it comes to showing what they can do in the CL.

Tbh...i agree that City are on level with Chelsea. And im not biased at all.
But City have a bigger and better looking stadium aswell. And City have more potential to grow than Chelsea does. Off and on the pitch IMO. I mean with the SportCity development etc...the 1billion investment on Eastlands.
And i would pick Citys current squad over Chelseas aswell.
