Bigger better stadium for City and Eastlands is a very nice looking place with a good academy and training facilities. And atleast Citys strikers score goals even when they dont want to be there and doesn't waste 50m on huge injury prone flops like Torres.

And the squads avarge age is pretty young and not around 30 like Chelsea. And in no need of a re-build unlike others.

Bigger stadium counts for fuckall when you can see half empty stadium even when the ticket prices are cheaper than many clubs..

And Ironic that City fan is talking about wasting talent. Lol..

If you want to take it like an insult thats your issue, but the manner of spending from both sides, their methods in the market, their recent rises, the manner in which they are funded, the issues they face with the FFPR, their current CL standing; are all similar, although Chelsea still have the upper hand in recent trophies. But in terms of someone signing from outside, there isnt much difference between the two

Arguably Stamford Bridge is also a very nice-looking place with very good facilities...and honestly the suggestion that City players socre goals in any way is completely irrelevant to our debate

And arguably we have better Youth prospects coming through than you guys do and our average age is not 30, just because few of our key players are ageing does not mean our whole squad has suddenyl become Milan

We got players like Luiz, Ramires, Mikel, Essien, Josh, Kalou, Ivanovic, Cech, PVA, Sturridge who are well below that age

Maybe....but City have invested alot in the youth academy and facilities in the past 3 years. And now they have started to sign good young promising players to their academy. Karim Rekik, Denis Suarez etc...and are in talks of signing many young players. Bit like Chelsea...altought Chelseas success under Frank Arnesen wasn't very good.

And your spine is old...Lampard, Terry, Drogba, Cech has been your spine for several years and their all something like 33. Some young players but you need to rebuild.

First of all I think Chelsea are still better than City, but for it to stay like that we need to bring younger players into our starting XI otherwise they'll easily catch up over this next season because our squad will be too old.

Secondly, BlueHeart stop acting so acting like a little kid. He has a right to an opinion (as does everyone) and if he thinks City are better than us then so be it. It doesn't mean you have to press the caps lock (as you ALWAYS do) and start raging. Not sure if you work or not; but if you talk to a customer/colleague like that just because you disagree with them then you'll be sacked straight away.

the signings of Luiz and Ramires were the first stages of acknowledging that imo. Interested to see what step AVB will take now

Right now Chelsea is bigger than City. Chelsea have won **** loads of trophies in the decade and always a threat for the champions league, preforming very well. On the other hand City made it to champions league for the first time after pumping so much money for 3 years. They have won FA cup thats it. On the other hand Chelsea won it many times in the past few seasons.

Financially both are ******. No point in going over that again.

But when someone make a point, instead of debating, people are retorting to childish rants/insults. You know your club is bigger, why not put forth your points..

Andy's point was valid. If Sanchez dont want to sign for City (Meaning rejected huge pay checque) then he would even reject Chelsea who are known to attract players offering huge wages. Yes Chelsea are successful in the recent past but that doesn't mean Sanchez will be dreaming about the prospect of playing for Chelsea.

WITh CHELSEA HE COULD BE CAPABLE OF WINNING THINGS INCLUDING CL, WHILE WITH CITY HE COULD ONLY DREAM ABOUT IT TILL HIS CAREER IS OUT.

He said that he wont be making any transfers until he has met the players on the 6th of July however very interestingly he said that he has seen the lub being linked with players and he mentioned Coentara's name, other than that he just tried to doge questions where the reporter would ask him stuff like Are you the Special One II and stuff like that and said that he wants to win trophies with flair and attacking football

I was joking, obviously my poor attempt at a joke didn't work.
I know we are similar but I'd prefer to talk about all things Chelsea in the Chelsea thread rather than City being better or the 'Your players are all old you need to rebuild' argument. Don't get me wrong i love a good debate but sometimes it takes the cake!

I agree with him, we have nothing against anyone really but these same arguements have been visit and revisted over and over again to the point that it has become boring , you would hardly see the same number of such debates on other Team discussiion threads that y most Chelsea members on this site get irritated when the issue comes up again in any form or way, I mean we just appointed a great new assistant manager and we have totally redeveloped our backroom yet no one has really visited that topic yet

He's said no deals until hes seen all the players I think so that won't be till mid July, going to be a quiet few weeks if so.

He wasn't insulting you! But even when you're not being 'insulted' you still constantly use caps lock and overuse exclamation marks, I always read your comments like you're screaming - it's unnecessary and so is your language.
