Not sure it changes much tbh. Without Evra we would have signed 2 LBs. Buttner is on the list to go.

Uh uh, not saying it makes any *significant* difference for you, it does for us. With Luiz leaving, there's a chance Brana will be backup CB and we will be able to promise him playing time(more than you can) as well as we can spend more lavishly.
Shaw is as good as done to united, felipe luis would be great anyway and as Chelsea like wasting young English talent, you're better off with felipe.
I have no idea if you are following recent developments but in no sense of the word is Shaw 'as good as done' to United ... Recent reports claim deal has actually stalled. Also worth noting that it was Moyes who wanted Shaw and no one has any idea who LvG wants ...
Mark Ogden said on MUTV who is the most reliable journo I know of connected to United said Shaw will be a United player and of course it's stalled, he's focusing on the world cup so it won't be announced yet.
Seeing as Evra has signed on for another year there is no rush to sign Shaw as of yet, so he is anyone's game. I hope Courtois goes back on loan to Atletico because I'd love to see a player be in the top 5 current most games for a club without actually ever signing for them, might as well make him successor to Gabi for the armband too.

Chelsea dont want to currently offer 30m. Nor match United's wage offer of 75k rising to 100k. Which is why you have done nothing but monitor the situation so far. United wanted Evra to sign as we were losing a lot of leadership and he is extremely popular.

Bloke is a liability Mike, I know this should be on the United thread but if Evra even plays half of next season's games I'm worried. Every time he plays he usually makes an error which costs us at the back.

Good luck with that. Sevilla rejected 15 Million bid from Napoli in Jan and according to many reports he wants to join Madrid and also he is in Madrid's radar. If Madrid signs siqueira whom they wanted to sign as Coentrao replacement then maybe he can be signed for lower price.
