Has anyone else realised most people now think Modric is staying at Spurs now all because Levy is saying the same thing as he was before he held talks. Ofcourse he just isnt going to come out after the talks and say " Yes hewants out and we will sell as soon as possible" etc. Also when the ssn reporter asked him does Modric now want to stay at Spurs he didnt answer and just said the same thing as he has done a thousand times that Modric will not be sold.

CJACKO, where are you man. contact yer sources, the wait is killing me. i need some news NOW.

All quiet at the moment, looks as if Boas is looking at what he already has and what he needs and who needs to go etc. i would expect activity from next week onwards, there is no rush.

Nah i genuinly think the deal is off, never mind Spurs will have to sell him for less next year when/if they dont make the CL again.

Well thats the last i heard last week that our chief exec was going to Italy at some point. I wouldnt think its to do with Zola because surely he would come over here and as we see that **** Emenalo has been given the DoF job. Maybe its to do with Pastore or Sniejder i dont know, as soon as i hear stuff i'll post them on here. But it seems as if Boas is willing to give everyone a chance to prove themselfs which is wise i think. This team wasent a million miles away last season so i think it just needs abit of fine tuning rather than an overhaul

I agree although we do need more players to bring in extra depth as we saw what happened last season where Lamps, Drogba, Benayoun all got injured at the same time

''Emenalo is to be named DoF at Chelsea... '':'(

Hate him with a passion, utterly useless.

If any scout deserves a promotion it would be Alvial over him, useless.

Oh yer i agree with that, personly i think 2-3 in and 2-3 out.

One change i noticed yesterday is that Boas had them working with the ball straight away which is different. Normally most clubs do fitness work for the first few days/week but he had them with the ball from day one.

Jack Cork has left Chelsea and joined newly promoted Southampton on a perminant deal.
http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2388425,00.html

Good luck to the lad, never really had enough in his locker to succeed at Chelsea but im sure he will be a fantastic player for Scum (im allowed to say that i live in Pompey, its what there known as).

LOL.

Tough for Cork - at least he'll be playing Championship football and not L1. I wonder if McEachran will feature heavily next season or whether he'll go on loan to a Championship club and eventually forced out 3 years down the line...

The difference between Cork when he was 18 and McEachran now is so big you cant even compare them. And if McEachran goes on loan this season it will be to a PremierLeague club not a Championship club.

its so obvious how you come here just to troll

and he never showed his promise hence he was sold, he was never forced out

You may disagree Alcaraz, but Chelsea haven't found a way how to bring youth players into the first team. The transitition from youth team to first team has few faults. I'm not doubting your youth players as you do have few very good young players, but either they are thrown into the deep end at once or they are not getting chances. IMO..

Coulibaly- Siena put a 2 million euro tag on him and AC/Inter are reportedly planning co ownership bids. Thought I'd put that out before I head out for the day. And on Cork, I still really rate him as a top level player. Can not believe a Prem club didn't want him, better than alot of overpriced young players like Mancienne/Vaughan... But anyway I still  him

well their is also the fact that he did not do too well with us in the last couple ov seasons... he was not forced out and a good piece of evidence is how no PLM club were very interested in him and none of them tried to pick him up, i get quite annoyed with Joss because he says either Josh will go on loan to a Championship club which honestly has no truth in the matter as he has already showed his immense potential against top teams such as Marseille and he wont get forced out after 3 years if he manages to reach his potential which I hope he can

ad although i agree that our transition system has a few faults, none of our Youth Players have really challenged for a first-team place tbh despite us giving them enough chances

Sturridge had 21 apps for us in the first half of the season and scored 4 goals which is relatively good but we really cannot rely on him just yet to lead our attack and when we realised that we sent him on loan to Bolton where he showed us what he can do

Josh is only 17/18 and he is still too young to be playing for us week in and out just yet and has been with our club since 8 and look how much he has progressed

Bruma is good but David Luiz is a much better player and Brums has been sent to Hamburg where he can gain experience and hopefully be able to take Alex' spot when we do decide to phase Alex out

PVA has just signed a new contract and will probably act as cover for Ashley Cole and hopefully gain experience and improve along the way

Sturridge's appearancs were all as subs with very few mins left.

Point is during your defensive crisis when Bruma was available, Ferreira was used as aa CB. He was loaned out to Hamburg but there is a possibility that he may go to Hamburg on permanent deal. Why was he loaned out when you have only Terry, Luiz and Alex as CBs. Thats not enough for a team fighting on all fronts.

And Ivanovic with Paulo Ferreira and Bosingwa who can do the job if asked to step into the RB position
