I would be happy if we bought him and sent him back to Genk so he can gain more experience, as of now if he stays with us he will just rot in the reserves so he might aswell stay at Genk for now

That is assuming use do. Chelsea are yet to be linked with him are are showing no real interest. AVB has his heart set in bringing in players from Porto.

And ton answer your question, they only need to look at the past careers of Steve Sidwell, Scot Parker, Damian Duff amongst others to know the grass isn't always greener.

oh please, that can be said about any club ... Just because there have been no reports does not mean we will not be looking at him, its really depends on AVB and who he wants to bring in

Very nice! I didn't expect the black to go all the way up, but it's nice. Wouldn't say I prefer it to the home or away, but I like them all a lot. Best set of kits in a while.

I have a wierd thing that i like seeing Chelsea play in all blue. We do it against Spurs and i just love the blue shirt blue shorts blue socks combo. So for me the home kit has too much white on it thats all.

Reminds me of a Germany kit.

Dont know much about the lad but looks better than Hilario and Turnbull put together.

I have seen alot of Courtois, he>Delac>Turnbull>Hilario.

Brilliant signing and he has the potential to at least match Cech in his prime, and on the Michel Bastos point, I have an update and some quotes from his agent to put in my roundup later...

He has basically said in an interview he is talking to 2 English clubs, I know the fee because Lyon offered Bastos to Liverpool for 13 million pounds...Wait and see.

Very happy i got my Chelsea membership through today and hopefully i'll be visiting the Bridge more than i usually get too this season. Got **** loads of money off vouchers inside which is a nice touch.

Cjacko haha I am staying in the same hotel as I did last summer and when I was out there last year Chelsea played Stoke at home and in the hotel room I had a look on the sports channels they had but the only english game that was being shown was Arsenal v Blackburn. Hopefully one of them show it if not I will get my dad to record it on the sky+ anyway just incase so when I am back in england I can watch

but he is signed to a long term contract that he is legally obliged to. Levys is a businessman and he will do whats best for the club. Modric didnt have to sign a long term contract and Levy doesnt have to sell, in case you didnt understand that. Modric and his agents are the one's who are at fault here

Modric is on a 6 year contract, in case you didn't understand. Do you not understand what a contract means?

Don't sign a new long term deal - especially one without a release clause - if you have no intention of seeing it out.

He's Levy's player, he'll do what he ****** well likes and shouldn't sell just because Chelsea have set their eyes on him. Your arrogance is unbelievable, really.
