John Terry + 98th minute offside goal = huge melt down from non Chelsea fans on Twitter

I'm avoiding it like the plague-some Everton/non-everton fans will go too far. Got no time for those "fans"-they don't represent the club.

I'm taking my anger out on pwning noobs on Starcraft

Clear offside for Terry, but I don't even care. That was amazing, what a moment it must have been for him. He celebrated like he just exorcised a demon.

Seeing that emotion and passion when celebrating with the fans is always great. Terry has his flaws but I still admire his attitude on the pitch.

Just to update, you gained point on Liverpool and the gap is just 6 points.

Going to be messy. Only 8 points between 10th and 17th. Going by the performance of clubs (barring a few noticeable exceptions) no one is safe with 16/17 games still to go

Absolutely agreed. Impossible to call what will happen at either end of the table this year.

Only 10 points between 8th and 18th. Mental season, all the midtable teams have improved well and top teams have sort of stagnated. Now there isn't much between top and midtable teams.

For a neutral, this is amazing PL season.

******* that is one brutal U21s team.

Been away for quite sometime ladies (and mainly gents) nearly a year now through to work. Think i timed my comeback at the right time when my team are performing well...........

As it has been some time i suppose i should air my views on this basket case of a football club shouldn't i??

For anyone who does follow me on Twitter you will have seen me lately really feeling distant from my club. My opinion way back was it was the players who were to blame and i still hold that opinion to this day. So how on earth did we win the double last season then i hear you all yell. I believe we had a manager who was/is able to take players to a level way above their ability for a short space of time hence why he is regarded as a short term manager only. I am not taking all blame away from the special one trust me, i believe he didn't adapt to becoming a long term manager quickly enough or at all. The constant playing of same player out of form is typical short term manager traits for instance however once again i'll reiterate my blame lies mainly with a lot of these players.

Casting Zouma and Willian aside (even if Willian cannot beat the f*****g first man from any corner) you could question every player this season although some stand out more than others. Ivanovic, Matic, Fabregas, Hazard, Costa and for me the main one OSCAR are players who i have actually lost respect for and if they left tomorrow i would not bat an eyelid. For many years i stuck up for Oscar, i always used to use the "he has not had a summer off since joining us he needs a prolonged rest". Well he got one last summer and he's been as ineffective as ever, to think we let go of a player who got a goal and/or assist every game for us Juan Mata for this! Another thing i blame Jose Mourinho for 100%!

The board have to take their share of the blame especially Michael Emenalo, how can the club get rid of players such as Lukaku and De Bruyne stating they didn't they they would benefit the team anytime soon! For everyone who doesn't know Romans right hand Roman the lady behind a lot of the good deals in the last 24months was on maternity leave in the summer so players Jose wanted allegedly in Sterling, Griezmann, Pogba and Stones were not landed. We ended up with Papy Djilobodji, Michael Hector and Falcao!!!!

And my last blame goes on the lack of leaders in the team, Drogba was far bigger than just a 3rd choice striker last season for us. John Terry is known as the leader on the pitch but when it comes to unity of the dressing room Drogba was the man you could see that. Chelsea needed a win 2011 Champions League group game 6 at home vs Valencia and who takes the team talk pre-match on the pitch..... Drogba. Every time we won a trophy he was at the forefront of the celebrations, he would be a bigger signing even as a coach than any manager/player we could get this transfer window.

Rant over....... for now.

You too? I thought it was just ourselves that specialised in that?

Does explain why Rodgers wanted him so bad like. He'd of fit right.

Its my biggest bugbear in professional football mate! Its not just Willian, so many top level footballer fail to beat the 1st man and it makes me so angry!

Preaching to the choir brother.

That, players that constantly blaze shots over (get your frigging knee over the ball! Yers a pro for crying out loud. You learn that fundamental when you're a kid!); and one footed players. FFS, you work for a couple of hours a day. If that. You can't spend extra time after training working on your weaker foot? Purely one footed professional footballers should be shot! Criminal!

My god its like talking to myself! Glad we agree on these subjects lol.

You forgetting Cech. Losing both Drogba and Cech was a massive blow for leadrishp. But that was hard choice to make as he wanted and deserved first team place.

I think these points are valid for every club. Not many players are leaders now, in the past when you see players you can see them as natural leaders. Now you see players like Henderson with their fake aggression just because they have armband it makes anyone cringe.

For example when Chelsea won titles, they had Terry, Carvalho, Cole, Lampard, Essien, Drogba and many others who were just leaders. Anyone could have got armband (maybe except Cole).

With ManUtd they had Vidic, Rio, VDS, Evra, Giggs, Neville. Before that era they had Great Dane, Keane, Stam, Beckham, Irwin who were all leaders.

Arsenal had players like Campbell, Vieira, Henry and few others who were all worthy of arm bands.

Now in each team it's hard to pick 1 player as a leader, nevermind 4-5 leaders in the same team.

Also one more good example is Inter. When they won treble they had Zanetti, Lucio, Samuel, Cambiasso, Maicon, Cesar, Stankovic who were all big presence and very influential. Now their captain is Icardi.

Lots of news that Pato to Chelsea is all but done deal.

Pato/ Pato's agent/ Whomever is representing him must be freaking desperate to get him a move back to Europe.

It's one story after another. With never anything concrete out of any club they link him to.
