Poor half so far. We should try to link up a few passes, not just hoof it to Morata.

Mad that he played himself into the position. Why not just release the ball earlier? Bizarre.

Had to be a red. Ankle-high. Studs off the ground. You're not really leaving an option. Just the first one shouldn't have been a yellow.
 
The only thing worth saying about this game is, I feel sorry for the neutrals who turned in.

Yeah, you might be right, it was just a reaction coming after seeing Kolasinac acting like he'd be shot, and walking on just fine, thank you very much, the next minute.
 
Terrible tackle from Luiz. Lost his head there. Luckily it did not cost us.

Yeah, I don't think Luiz meant it as bad as it looked in real time. Just you're not leaving much option the official when your foot's ankle high like that.

The ridiculous thing is how it was all of his own making when he had possession the football.
 
Pretty much game over. It would take a miracle from Forrest to turn this into their advantage.
 
That boy Ampadu looks very very talented. He's like a baby Luiz. Great night for the academy boys and a step in the right direction. Musonda class as expected.

Loved it how happy he was after scoring his goal. No doubt he wants to make it here, and hopefully he does.
 
Brilliant from Morata and Kante. Willian was dreadful. Really impressive start from the team especially since our best player in Hazard is yet to start an EPL game and the number of injuries we started the season with. Once Hazard is back to 100%, we will definitely go up another level.
 
In theory this is IMO our strongest line-up. Hoping Christensen will replace Cahill by next season, and keep him as a backup.
