He's on holiday, on his way back now or soon though, I believe. Expect him to be appointed in the next week and a half on a 2 year deal.

I wouldnt get ahead, Turkey are ******. If you make approach without it on their terms they will report chelseas for tapping up. Expect yu will pay hefty compensation to get him

Ye £5mil! And I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but it's seems a done deal. Turkey definitely won't be happy, but I can't see them stopping this deal now, Roman wants him too much and it seems Hiddink wants to be back at Chelsea too.

they still can make him see out the contract. I think its chelsea's percieved arrogance thats ****** off, assuming that hes already there. The fact that chelsea has gone to him, without going through them has left them irate

Its annoying, its a business approach that the men in suits (who know nothing about Chelsea or football for that matter) take at Chelsea which is to go in all guns blazing and who gives a **** who they upset along the way just aslong as they get what they want. It might work in other walks of life but it dosent work in football and i would have thought they had learnt that by now but obviously now.

yeah, and the thing, had chelsea taken a more discreet approach, probably would have him by now

i agree... Guus should be our top priority cos if we dont get him we are in trouble, there are not too many managers around as the same level as Guus and we need him badly, i really dont want to start our summer by brining in a realtively poorer manager such nas 'Arry

You know I am really ****** off on the Ryan Giggs sacandal, when John Terry was caught in scandal as he had a affair with Wayne Bridge's girlfrend, everyone was all over him and he was stripped of the England captaincy, everybody was condemmining him

Now when Ryan Giggs is caught in the middle of a controversy where he cheated on his wife with Immogen Thomas and broke up the marriage of his brother by having an affair with his wife which is hundred times worse than what JT did, all everyone says is that they dont care what Giggs does in his personal life,

very strange

Its not a team mates wife....... Its not a footballing matter, it is a personal matter, and if Giggsy can pull Imogen thomas.. I willing to shake his hand.

I'd shake his hand 2 but stripping JT of the England Captaincy for his mistake which seems quite trivial when u compare it to what Giggsy caused was quite harsh... plus when u compare the reactions of some people on this forum to the JT scandal and the Giggsy scandal, you will get what I mean

What do you mean? Giggs shagged someone else, it's nobody elses business really. I don't know what all the fuss is about, he is a grown man.

you completely missed my point, see my earlier post

I did, and I didn't miss your point. The JT thing was the same, shagged someone else, it's nobody elses business. Both morally wrong, yes, but not a football matter which should be the only focus of interest when people think of John Terry, Wayne Bridge or Ryan Giggs.

Then you could probably say that the treatment JT got was very harsh, being stripped of the England Captaincy only to be reinstated a year later when Capello realised he had no one else to rely on...

Yes, agreed, it was none of Capello's business, certainly not to base a football decision on anyway.

Turkey are ****** off at Hiddink, not Chelsea. When Hiddink was in charge of Russia he asked Turkey to wait 6 months so he could see out his contract with Russia before joining Turkey. So they waited and got their man, and now they are ****** off Hiddink wants to go and are finding it quite disrespectful.

"I think its chelsea's percieved arrogance thats ****** off" - you mean the media? The media have presumed we have Hiddink already and have been linking transfer targets, Sneijder for example.

It was a footballing matter, it was a team mate..

There is a difference between a football team mate and a memeber of your family... Yes giggs was morally wrong and worse then JT. But JT did it with a team mates girl.. Thats the difference, and off course Giggs being welsh, means the English media can fuckk all about him really.

No it isn't a footballing matter at all, regardless of being a team mate or not. It may well have had an effect on the relationship between Bridge and Terry which would transpire on the pitch, but the actual act had nothing to do with football.

Again, it was a behind closed doors event and was a private grievance between Terry and Bridge. Therefore, it has nothing to do with me, you or Fabio Capello.

It has everything to do with Capello. If it affects his dressing room and team selection, and whats that, Bridge refuses to play with John Terry. Oh so it did affect football.

The actualy act in directly affected the England National team, Hence why action was taken.

Both are wrong, Morally Giggs is worse but from a football sense, Terry affected it more.

I still don't agree with you, the act was nothing to do with football, its a private matter, regardless of whether it affected the decision of Bridge to play with Terry or not.

If thats the case, the club should have simply fined Bridge, transfer listed or worst case, sacked him, it is not his decision when he should play or who he should play with. Same at national level, if he wouldn't play, drop him from the squad and state that until he changes his stance, he won't be considered for selection. Stripping Terry of the captaincy was not a just punishment for what happened, especially as the action had the most detrimental effect of all. In reality, the big loser out of the whole situation was Capello as it exposed a weakness we had not seen. He should have just stuck to his guns and said it had nothing to do with Team England.
